Introduction Christ Deemed to be University is an autonomous college established in the year 1969 with the educational vision of St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara who was a social reformer in the 19th century in South India. He was the first person to form the CMI congregation in the year 1831 which administers the Christ University. Under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 the Ministry of Human Resource development awarded the institution status of to be deemed to be a University. This is one of the few institutes in India to get accreditation by NAAC in the year 1998.
Facilities This multi disciplinary University gives admissions to Bachelors to Doctoral programs in social science, science, commerce, management and engineering. More than 21000 students are studying in different courses in the university. Christ university has produced research journals and has published more than 300 books in English and Kannada. Christ University, Bangalore has five campuse and they are Bangalore central campus, Bannerghatta Road campus, Kengeri Campus, Delhi NCR Campus and Pune Lavasa Campus. The Bangalore central campus is an ecofriendly environment and committed to the values. The students in the campus must dress in an appropriate manner and have a disciplined attitude.

Eligibility Pass in plus two level from ISC, CBSE, Karnataka PUC or any State examination from a recognized board. Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects in plus-two level and must have minimum 50 per cent marks in Physics, Maths and Chemistry and 50 per cent separately in Mathematics. Those who are doing their international curriculum must note that the eligibility will be upon the AIU guidelines. Those who are doing IB curriculum must have a total of 24 credits. Those who have completed 3-year diploma in Engineering will be eligible for lateral entry program in Engineering.

Eligibility-M.Tech Applicants who have passed B.Tech or B.E with 55 per cent marks from recognized Indian University or from abroad which is recognized by UGC are eligible for applying to the programs. Candidates who are in their final degree examinations are also eligible to apply and they should have 55 per cent or above aggregate marks in all the semester of the exams which have conducted till date.
Eligibility-PhD Candidates those who have a Post Graduate Engineering or in Technology in the appropriate discipline, specialization with minimum 55 per cent marks or equivalent grade. Applicants who have completed their postgraduation from an international university will have to submit an equivalency certificate from the association of the Indian Universities. Christ follows the UGC minimum standards and procedure for award of PhD or M.Phil degrees. Applicants who have qualified UGC NET including the JRF or has passed M.Phil program can apply for PhD at any time in the year by sending their research proposal and CV to email@example.com.
Admission Process The selection process will be available on https://appstat.christuniversity.in. The selected candidates will get an E-offer of admission. The offer will be valid up to the date mentioned in the offer of admission. Selected candidates must note that the admission is provisional and is subject according to the rules of the university. The selected candidates must download offer of admission on the application status link on the website of the university.
How to Apply All the candidates must visit this website https://appstat.christuniversity.in. You must enter your name which is given in 10th marks list, email id and set an appropriate password. The email id and mobile number provided will be used for sending confirmation and application status messages. The candidate can apply for more programs until they meet their eligibility criteria.
The applicants must submit their applications through online mode and they must visit the website of the Christ university and click on the Admissions link and then proceed to click on the application status where it will lead to the online application page. Click on the confirmation page on the Applications tab and then select your appropriate program. Applicants must make sure that they enter the correct marks in previous qualification entry which is given in the application form and this will be carried for preparing the selection list. Any error given here will lead to application rejection. Fill all the details on the application page. Scan and upload your recent passport size photograph(3.5cm*4.5cm)with a formal dress in white background and click on the submit button. An editing and viewable page will appear on the screen and we have to look for any correction and edit the details and click on confirm submission button.
Next, make the payment using your card and after that, 9 digit application number will be given. If you are not able to print the application due to power failure, then under Application status, enter your registered email-ID and password for printing the application form. Those candidates who fall under PIO, OCI, AFRICA, SAARC or any other foreign nationals then they must submit the passport copy, PIO or OCI card copy, Copy of Class 10, Class11&Class12 marks list in an A4 envelope size through Registered Post or courier to the below-mentioned address-
