Fellowship DetailsNIPGR invited applications from the highly motivated candidates for the selection in a short-term fellowship programme: Details of the programme are:
Name of the Scheme: Short-Term Research Fellowship.
Programme Co-ordinator: Dr Ashutosh Pandey, Scientist, NIPGR.
Name of the Post: Project Associate-I (PA-I).
Number of Position: 01.
Age limit: The maximum age limit to apply for the fellowship is 35 years.
Educational Qualification: An M.Sc. Biotechnology or M.Tech. Biotechnology or equivalent degree in Biotechnology/Life Sciences or any related subject from any recognised university with at least 60% aggregate marks are eligible to attend the interview.
Research Experience: Candidate having previous work experience in Plant tissue culture and metabolomics will be given preference.
Fellowship Emoluments: Fellowship to the selected candidates will be given as per DBT/DST, GoI rules.
Duration: The fellowship duration will be three years. Initially, an appointment will be done for one year which further may be extended based upon the fellow's performance upon the discretion of the Competent Authority.
Important Note: Reservation of posts will be done based on Govt. of India norms.
The fellowship position is purely temporary and the candidate will not have any right to claim for further absorption or any regular position.
