The duration of this course is 7 weeks and each week one has to engage in this course for 2-3 hours.

Course 2: Child Rights and Protection

Children are the future citizens of a country and they need utmost care and protection during childhood. Daily we get reports of child abuses and there are many children who live an unsecured life. To address these issues related to the protection of rights of children and their mental and physical development competent professionals are required. The objective of this course is to raise awareness and make the learner competent enough to address the issues of children.

What you will learn

This is a 6 weeks course and on each week the focus will be on various aspects related to a particular topic. The topics are as follows:
Week 1:
  • Child in India

Week 2:
  • Constitutional and Legal Provisions

Week 3:
  • Policies and Schemes for Child Rights

Week 4:
  • Social Work Intervention

Week 5:
  • Case Studies

Week 6:
  • Assignments


The duration of this course is 6 weeks and each week one has to engage in this course for 3-4 hours.

To receive the Certificate of Completion for both the courses, one has to score 70% in the assignments and should participate in minimum 5 discussion forums.

Course fee

The registration fee for both the course is Rs 350/- and for Certificate of Completion, students need to pay Rs 500/-. All the fees have to be paid online.
