About University
Chaudhary Bansi Lal University, a State-level university in Bhiwani, is established by the Government of Haryana. The University is recognised by University Grants Commission. CBLU is a multi-disciplinary higher education university which offers basic courses and career-oriented courses. Besides, science and humanities, the University is also known for sports and physical education. The university has 58 affiliated colleges spread over two districts of Haryana viz. Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri. Now, Chaudhary Bansi Lal University, Bhiwani is inviting applications on prescribed format for admissions to PhD Programme from eligible candidates for the academic year 2020-21.

Eligibility criteria
The admission seekers must have passed Master's degree in the relevant subject with aggregate 55% marks from any recognised university.
There will be a relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently abled or any other category as specified by the University Grants Commission.
The candidates who are in their final year/semester of qualifying degree are also eligible to apply.
How to Apply
Candidates must visit the official notification uploaded at the University website and read the PhD Ordinance and other related information carefully. It is also suggested to check their eligibility before applying.
To fill the application form, the candidates can download the application form available at the official website and also from the link provided at the end of this article.
In the application form, the candidates will have to provide Personal details, Educational qualification including 10th, 12th, B.Sc, M.Sc., M.Phil and details of any fellowship exam NET, JRF, GATE, GPAT, if qualified. Candidates will have to provide work experience and employment details.
Application complete in all respects should be sent to the concerned Director or Chairperson or In-charge of the University before the closing date.
Application fee
Cost of application form is Rs.1000/-. But if the candidates use the application form downloaded from the website, an application fee must be remitted along with the application through University receipt or bank draft in favour of Registrar, Chaudhary Bansi Lal University, Bhiwani. For General Category Candidates: Rs.1000/-
For SC/ BC/EWS/ Blind candidates of Haryana: Rs.250/-

The matriculation mark sheet as proof of Date of Birth.
10+2 mark sheet.
Graduation all semester's mark sheets.
Post-graduation all semester's mark sheets.
Mark sheet and degree of M.Phil in case of M.Phil candidates.
Proof of UGC/CSIR-JRF /GPAT exam qualification.
Caste certificate in case of SC/ST/BC/EWS/PwD or Socially Backward Class candidates.
Domicile certificate of Haryana, if applicable.
No Objection Certificate in case of in-service candidates.
Migration certificate in case of candidates from other universities (to be submitted within one month from the enrollment).
Note:
Application form must be filled completely and candidates should not leave any column blank.
All the photocopies of documents must be attested.
Admission process
Admission to PhD programmes will be done through the Chaudhary Bansi Lal University, Bhiwani Research Aptitude Test (CBLU-RAT).
Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET -JRF/UGC-CSIR NET-JRF/SLET/GATE/GPAT/Teacher fellowship or any other equivalent national level fellowship exam need not appear in the University CBLU-RAT.
Final selection will be done based on academic percentage and performance in CBLU-RAT exam. A merit list will be prepared for admissions into each PhD programme.
The CBLU-RAT exam will be conducted at the campus of Chaudhary Bansi Lal University, Bhiwani.
