This seems to be a very good opportunity for the students who are from a rural background as these seats are reserved for that category. For a person from that background, it makes sense to apply for these courses in Agricultural Engineering and Food Technology. Incidentally, Govt is also giving a lot of thrust in the farming area and contemplating the installation of industries near the villages which deal in the food technology or related areas. It was long thought to be a good idea to get the agricultural products packed and tinned at a place near to where these are produced to reduce the cost of transportation and give scope for employment to the villagers nearby. In light of that, the persons who do these courses from this reputed institution can think of making a career in this industry.
