How to get FIITJEE coaching scholarships and fee waivers through Talent Reward Exam
FIITJEE coaching programs are very popular for both, school students appearing for Scholastic exams and IIT aspirants. The fee for the programs can be daunting, though. This article explains how to apply for and avail of cash scholarships and enroll for FIITJEE coaching programs for free through the FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam (FTRE) scheduled for December 2020. Details of the online registration process for FTRE, the registration fee and eligibility criteria have been provided.
Popular coaching institute Forum for Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (FIITJEE) has announced a special FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam (FTRE) scheduled for next month to give you an approximate idea of how well you could fare in competitive exams like JEE and scholastic exams. It will enable you to join a FIITJEE program and get cash scholarships along with waivers on program fees on the basis of your score in FTRE and as per existing terms and conditions. Due to the ongoing pandemic, live online classes are held for all FIITJEE programs, with expert faculty teaching and extending help in understanding concepts through doubt-clearing sessions. E-study materials are dispatched via online platforms and WhatsApp. Online Parent-Teacher sessions will also be scheduled from time to time.

You should be a student currently studying in the academic session of 2020 in Class 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, or 11 and will be going to Class 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12 in the next academic year of 2021.
FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam format
For all classes, students have to appear for a three-hour paper and must log in 15 minutes before the time scheduled for the paper. You can appear for the exam in offline mode at designated centres or appear for it online from home through proctored mode (that is, it will be monitored). However, the offline mode option may be removed in case of any directives from the Government authorities or due to any other valid reason.
The exam paper is as follows-
For students presently studying in Class 5 and Class 6: The three-hour paper will have objective-type questions related to General Science and Maths, and to test Aptitude. Time: 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
For students presently studying in Class 7, 8 and 9: There are two papers of three hours each, Paper 1 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and Paper 2 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Both papers have objective type questions, with Paper 1 consisting of an Aptitude Test, and questions on Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths, and Paper 2 Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths.
For students presently studying in Class 10 and Class 11: There are two papers of three hours each, Paper 1 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and Paper 2 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Both papers have objective type questions, with Paper 1 consisting of an Aptitude Test, and questions related to Physics, Chemistry and Maths, and Paper 2 Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
How to register for FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam
You can register online or through the offline mode for FTRE.Offline registration process
Fill up the registration form and submit it at the nearest FIITJEE Centre (if the Centre is open as per Govt. directives) along with the payment for the exam fee in cash.
In case you have appeared for a FIITJEE test earlier, then you need to submit the photocopy of the Hall Ticket/Admit card of the previous FIITJEE Test along with the registration fee.
In case you are currently enrolled in any FIITJEE program, you need to submit a photocopy of your FIITJEE ID card or any proof of enrolment along with the registration form.Online registration process
Fill up the FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam registration form or download FTRE App on your Mobile through Google Play Store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fiitjee.fiitjee_ftre&hl=en_IN). You can also register through your smartphone - www.fiitjee-ftre.com/mobile.
In case you have appeared for a FIITJEE test earlier and are already registered at the site, then you need to register from the same user ID/password given to you for the previous test or add the previous registration number to your online account using the registration number and Web Access code/Student ID (SID) of the previous test (whichever is applicable).
In case you are currently enrolled in a FIITJEE program, you need to register from the same user ID/password given to you for the previous enrolment or add your enrolment no. to your online account. FTRE Registration fee
If you have never registered for any FIITJEE test earlier and are doing so now for the very first time for FTRE, the fee is Rs.500/- up to 20th December 2020. If you pay late, from 21st to 23rd December 2020, the fee is Rs.700/- and if you pay on 24th or 25th December 2020, the fee is Rs.1000/-.
If you have registered earlier for a FIITJEE test, then the fee is Rs.400/- up to 20th December 2020. If you pay late, from 21st to 23rd December 2020, the fee is Rs.600/- and if you pay on 24th or 25th December 2020, the fee is Rs.900/-.
If you are currently enrolled in a FIITJEE program, you do not have to pay any registration fee up to 1st December 2020. After that, from 2nd to 20th December 2020, the registration fee is Rs.100/- and from 21st to 25th December 2020 the fee is Rs.200/-.
Mode of payment: The registration fee can be done online through any Bank's credit card or debit card or Net Banking as well as through NEFT/IMPS through the Bank's website or App. You can also print a Challan and deposit it in person with the Test fee in cash or Demand Draft (DD) or Pay Order at the nearest FIITJEE Centre (if the Centre is open as per Govt. directives) along with two passport size photos.
On successful payment of the registration fee, you can download the Hall ticket from the same website.FTRE schedule
FTRE Registration dates: ongoing, up to 25th December 2020.
FTRE Exam date: 27th December 2020 as per the times mentioned earlier.
Declaration of exam result:
On the above-mentioned dates, the result will be available 4 p.m. onward at www.fiitjee-ftre.com.After the FTRE result
Once the result is out and you wish to avail of a cash scholarship, fee waiver and other benefits related to FTRE-2020, you need to get enrolled through online mode in any one of the FIITJEE programs as notified in the official brochure from 7th January to 17th February, 2021 as per the enrolment dates for each specific class (refer to the Table below).
