About DSU
Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) was founded by Late Sri Dayananda Sagar in the early sixties under the Act of the Karnataka State in 2014. The University was established to fulfil the requirement of quality higher education and research. The University was started with only four students but now the number of students are more than 17,000. At present, DSU has five campuses operating under the aegis of the Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peetha Trust, Bengaluru. DSU us serving as a global education hub and having talented teaching staff. The University has well-equipped laboratories, high te h lecture rooms, vast libraries and computer centre. 1) B.Sc in Biotechnology, Biochemistry & Genetics
Intake Capacity: 60
Duration: 3 years (6 semesters)
Eligibility: The candidate should passed 10+2, American 12th grade, A-Level, IB or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and English with Biology or Biotechnology or Mathematics or any other Life Science as an optional subject. He/she must secure at least 45% marks in aggregates in Physics, Chemistry and any of the optional subject.
2) B.Sc in Biotechnology, Chemistry & Microbiology
Intake Capacity: 60
Duration: 3 years (6 semesters)

Admission will be based on the above-mentioned eligibility criteria. However, the eligibility criteria will be 40% for SC/ST candidates for admission in all the M.Sc. courses.
