Name of Position: Student Internship/Student Trainee

No. of Internship: 01

Reservation: Reservation of post shall be based on Govt. of India norms.

Name of the Project: "Molecular characterization of flavanol biosynthesis in banana: Towards the development of flavanol enriched banana."

Name of the Project In-charge: Dr Ashutosh Pandey

Duration of Internship: The above position is completely temporary and the tenure of appointment is fixed from the date of appointment.

Stipend: The candidates will be paid an amount of Rs.5000 monthly consolidated. The amount of stipend will be paid as sanctioned in the project.

Essential Qualification: The candidates are in the final year of their bachelor's degree course and are searching for an internship are eligible for the internship. They must be doing B. Tech Biotechnology or BE or B.Sc. Biotechnology or B.Sc.Life Science or B.Sc.Molecular Biology, etc.

How to Apply

The candidates who wish to join an internship at NIPGR must visit the official website of NIPGR and read the instructions carefully before applying. The candidates who fulfil eligibility requirements for the intern/trainee position may apply on the prescribed format available on the official website. The application will be accepted only in the soft copy in the prescribed format, hence the candidate must download the application format and after filling the soft copy must be sent through email along with a cover letter and soft copies of self-attested mark-sheets and certificates from Class 10th onwards. Besides, a letter from the head of the department/ institute is to be attached mentioning the current status of student and permission to attend the training programme. In the cover letter, the interest of the candidate must be mentioned. Soft copy of the application form, cover letter and all the above documents must be attached in a single pdf file and sent to the email id of PI: ashutosh@nipgr.ac.in.

Selection Procedure

Selection of the candidates will be based on the qualification and experience of the applicant. Shortlisted candidates will be informed electronically through email and called for an online interview. Date and time and web-link to attend an online interview will be sent separately to the shortlisted candidates. Candidates must check their eligibility before applying. Interview web-link will be sent to shortlisted eligible candidates and ineligible candidates will not be interviewed. In case of any query, candidates can contact Scientist in charge with email only.

Important Note

  • The appointment can be ended anytime by giving one month notice by either side.
  • The applicants will not claim for consideration against any regular position of NIPGR.
  • NIPGR will reserve all the right to select the candidate against the above position.
