Set up in 2016 at Mathura in Uttar Pradesh in a serene location, Sanskriti University is one of the best emerging universities in India. Eligibility for the PhD programs

Following eligibility criteria are to be fulfilled by the candidates seeking admission at Sanskriti University.

  • Master degree in the relevant field of study, depending upon the discipline that the candidate is going to undertake for the PhD.
  • Minimum 55% marks in aggregate from a recognised college/university


Selection procedure

Selection of the candidates for the PhD programs are done as follows:

  • The candidates are called for a written test followed by a personal interview
  • During the interview, the candidates will also have to present their research proposal on which they are planning to research the PhD course.
  • Candidates who will be shortlisted after the interview will have their names displayed on the university website. At the same time, they will be intimated about their selection through email.
  • On final selection, the selected candidates will have to pay the necessary fee before being formally admitted to their chosen PhD program


Application procedure

The application procedure for the PhD programs at Sanskriti University is an online one. However, for the application fee, the candidates have the option to pay it either online or offline. Here is the detailed process about the application process.

First of all, the candidates will have to visit the official website of Sanskriti University. In the next step, they have to fill up the online application form with all the essential details, including, the branch and the course they intend to pursue. At the same time, they will have to upload a scanned copy of their passport size photograph. On submission of the details, the candidates will be taken to the online payment portal, where they can pay the necessary application fee.

For those who want to pay through offline channels, they will have to make a demand draft drawn for the requisite amount and then send it to the Registrar, Sanskriti University at the address given below either by post or by hand.

About the entrance test and interview

The entrance test for PhD admissions at Sanskriti University is a 90 minutes test. It has 2 papers, each of 45 minutes duration. The first paper is to check the research aptitude of the candidate, whereas, the second paper is relevant to the subject in which the candidate desires of undertaking the PhD. The entrance test will be held online through the university online examination portal.

As for the interviews are concerned, they will be held via Zoom or other online meeting apps. To get the subject wise schedule for the interviews, the candidates to contact the admission team of the university. The interview schedule will also be sent through email to the registered mail IDs.

Type of program

The PhDs for the different disciplines are available both on full time as well as short term basis. Candidates who are professionally employed as engineers, teachers and scientists are allowed to enrol on a part-time basis. Such candidates will have to submit a no-objection certificate from their employer or organisation, stating that the candidate is permitted to pursue the part-time program.

Duration of the program

It can take anywhere from a minimum of 3 years to a maximum of 6 years to complete the entire course, including, the dissertation.



Course fees

Domestic Students:
Tuition Fee (Full- time course): Rs. 75,000/- per annum
Tuition Fee (Part-time course): Rs. 60,000/- per annum
Examination Fee: Rs. 10,000/- per annum

International Students: Tuition Fee: US $1100 per annum

As for refunds, there is no provision for refund, once the course commences.

Many students are not able to get a job of choice after completing their Post Graduation and that is the reason that they remain unemployed as the jobs available are of low remuneration and of course they do not like them.
