Course details with seats The Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University offers following four-semester Post-Graduate Management courses in Business Administration of two-year duration for the academic session of 2021-2023:
Note: Point to be noted that there shall be at least 5 students in each elective group. Above seats are reserved at a percentage of fifteen, seven and a half, five, twenty- seven and ten of the total intake for the candidates belong to SC, ST, PC, NC-OBC and EWS categories respectively. 15% of total intake will also be reserved for admission underpaid seat scheme which will be done after completion of admissions in a regular seat.Eligibility criteria

At the above qualifying examinations, candidates must have at least 50% marks in the aggregate which is relaxed up to 45% for the SC/ST candidates. Point to be noted that the above admission will be made through CAT as such eligibility criteria as defined under CAT shall also be applicable here. In case, candidates are appearing in the qualifying exam, should produce a certificate issued by the Head of the institution from where (s)he will pursue the qualifying exam to be concluded on or before 30th June of the year of admission. However, the mark sheet of the qualifying exam should be submitted by 5th October of the year of admission in case a provisional admission is offered.Fee structure
Interested candidates selected for the admission should pay Rs. 47,682/- and Rs. 46,982/- during the first and third semester respectively. And during the second and fourth semester, Rs. 2125/- should be deposited. A hostel fee of approx Rs. 6700/- excluding mess charges per annum should be paid. All the fees must be paid in either cash or card transfer at the fee counter.
Candidates willing to admit under 'Paid Seats Scheme' should pay a demand draft of Rs. 1,50,000/- drawn in favour of the Registrar, Banaras Hindu University, payable at Varanasi during the provisional admission against which the admit card will be issued. Another demand draft of Rs. 1,50,000/- drawn in favour of the Registrar, Banaras Hindu University, payable at Varanasi should be deposited before the commencement of the third semester otherwise students will not be registered in the next semester.Admission process

Applicants should have a valid email id and mobile number, preferably the same as used during registration of CAT 2020, for online registration for the MBA course 2021 of Benaras Hindu University.
