Step 1: Visit the direct link of Aadhar at https://ask.uidai.gov.in/
Step 2: There are two options currently. One is for the Indian Citizen whom living / residing in India and the other one is for the Indian Citizen whom living / residing abroad, right now.
Step 3: Indian Resident can log in by either Mobile number or Email ID but make sure you know the registered phone number or email ID to get OTP to use it for Aadhar login.
Step 4: Once you choose the appropriate option to get the OTP then follow the next steps.
Step 5: Click on the Mobile number or Email ID (For Indian Resident) - Non-Resident Indians have the email option alone to get an OTP.
Step 6: Enter the correct detail with the captcha code and click on the 'Send OTP' button.
Step 7: Check the registered mobile number or email to see the OTP received to use it on the same screen (https://ask.uidai.gov.in/) on the right side to login.
Step 8: You will get another screen once you entered the received OTP in the relevant section. Click on the 'Update Aadhar' option at the top right side.
Step 9: You need to enter your 'Name' and 'Aadhar Number' in the appropriate field on the next screen. Make sure the check box for resident type.
Step 10: You will get seven (7) options to change or update on Aadhar under the 'What Do You Want To Update' column. Use the option correctly then click on the 'Proceed' button to change or update it.
Step 11: Click on save once updated. You're done!.
