"Institute of Eminence (IoE)" - The Govt. of India has recognized Vellore Institute of Technology with this title. ARIIA, GOI has also recognized VIT as the No. 1 private university for innovation. Being the only private institute, it stands among the first 9 institutions of India as per Shanghai World Universities Ranking (ARWU) 2020. The VIT University has four campuses in Vellore, Chennai, Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh) and Bhopal.

Who are eligible to apply for VITEEE-2021
Candidates should be an Indian resident/non-Resident or PIO
Foreign applicants who are either studying or studied abroad may also apply separately, directly through the foreign category by filling up the international application form which is available at the official website
Date of birth of the candidates must fall on or after 1st July 1999 as per the HS / SSC / X certificate which needs to be submitted at the time of counselling/admission as a proof of their age
Interested candidates must be either passed or appearing in 2021, in any of the following examinations:
The final year exam of 10+2 standard examination conducted by any of the state board, CBSE or ICSE
Intermediate/ 2-year Pre-University Examination organized by either a recognized board or university
Examination of General Certificate Education (GCE) of London/ Cambridge/ Sri Lanka at the advanced level (A)
Regular "NIOS" board candidates may also apply producing the Migration cum Transfer Certificate during joining
Candidates have to upload the scanned copy of marksheet providing their score in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English individually along with the total marks of all subjects in the application form
Eligible score card of JEE/ SAT is required if available
Applicants should have at least aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics in the qualifying examination which is relaxed by 10% for the candidates belong to SC / ST category or from J&K / Ladakh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Sikkim and Tripura
Candidates with PCM in qualifying examination are allowed to register for VITEEE-21 for admission to any B.Tech program
Candidates with PCM in qualifying examination are allowed to apply for the following programs only:
B.Tech in Bio-Engineering in VIT Bhopal
B.Tech in Biotechnology in VIT, Vellore
B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Bioformatics in VIT Vellore
B.Tech in Electronics and Communication with specilization in Biomedical Engineering in VIT Vellore
Candidates have to register for a bridge course in Mathematics compulsorily after joining
Application fee
Candidates who wish to apply have to deposit Rs. 1150 online in case they register applications through an online web browser whereas through the mobile app the application fee will be Rs. 1050. A point to be noted is that the application fee will not be refunded under any circumstances. Applicants willing to choose a test center abroad should pay an equivalent amount of USD 50 in INR.

Visit at the official website (the link is provided at the end of this article)
Click on "New User" to register yourself as a new user
Enter your details carefully as asked for in the respective space
Your e-mail address must be valid and mobile number should be an active Indian number as all correspondences will be through these two mediums. Point to be noted that mobile number, e-mail address and correspondence address cannot be changed once registered.
Put the verification code as given
Click on the check box to authenticate VIT to override DND status
Click on "Register"
Candidates should have a valid net banking account/credit card/debit card/PayTM account
You will receive an OTP to your registered mobile number which is to be validated
Once mobile number is verified, a password will be sent to your registered email address
Again go to the official page as said in Sl. No. 1
Click on "Login" tab and login with your registered e-mail ID and the password received through your registered e-mail
Fill in carefully all the information as asked for in relevant field
Once completed, an application number will be generated which is to be noted down to refer in any correspondence in future
Deposit the application fee as mentioned above
Once the application fee is paid, upload your scanned 3.5 cm width and 4.5 cm height photo in JPG format and the signature. Individual size of the scanned files should be between 10-200 kB
Download and save your filled in application as a reference during correspondence in future if any

Important dates
Registration of online application for VITEEE 2021 has started on 30th November 2020 and the online portal will remain active till 30th March 2021
VITEEE 2021 will be conducted tentatively between 2nd - 3rd week of April 2021
Counselling will be done in the 1st week of May 2021 tentatively
Tentatively the classes will be started in the 2nd week of July 2021
