Eligible candidates can apply for MBA admissions by submitting the online application form available at the official website of BIM.
At first, candidates should register their details like name, mobile number, email id and password in the online registration form by clicking the New user 'Sign up' link. Remember, it is important to provide correct contact details as all the communication regarding BIM admissions will be addressed only to the registered email id or mobile number.
After successful registration, candidates can apply online using their login credentials and fill the online application form. While filling the online form, the scanned copies of the below-mentioned documents should be uploaded in .jpeg format.
Since CAT score is mandatory for MBA admissions at BIM, candidates must fill their CAT Registration number and CAT 2020 score at the space provided in the online application form.
After filling all the pages in the online application form, candidates should click the 'Save' button to save all the details entered. After saving the filled-in form, candidates will receive an automated email with their BIM application number. Once the application form is filled and all the scanned copies of the documents are uploaded, candidates should pay the application form fee through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking / Demand Draft.
The application form fee is Rs.1450/- for others and Rs.950/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates.
After successful payment of the application fee, candidates will receive a payment acknowledgment email containing details like BIM Application Number and Payment Status with Authentication ID of the payment done.
Candidates who wish to pay the application form fee through Demand Draft should take a DD in favor of 'Bharathidasan Institute of Management' payable at Tiruchirappalli. Once the demand draft is drawn, click 'Application status' and fill in the DD details to complete the DD payment process. After submitting the DD details in the form, candidates should write their name and BIM application number on the backside of the DD and send it by speed post to "The Admissions Chairman, Bharathidasan Institute of Management, MHD Campus, BHEL Complex, TIRUCHIRAPPALLI-620014, Tamil Nadu." Do not send the filled-in application form to BIM.
The last date to submit the online application form is 31st January 2021 at 10.00 p.m.Selection process
BIM at first will shortlist the candidates based on their CAT 2020 Score. All the shortlisted candidates will be then called to attend the Group Discussion(GD) and Personal Interview(PI) conducted at BIM centers located at Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Tiruchirappalli. BIM will verify all the original certificates of the candidates when they attend the GD & PI. During the final selection process, along with the valid CAT score and overall performance in GD & PI, relevant work experience(if any) and the academic performance of the candidates in class 10, class 12 and qualifying degree program will be given weightage.
