Candidates with at least 55% marks in their 3 year or equivalent bachelor's degree in any discipline are eligible to apply for the Xavier University Bhubaneswar full time 2021 Master's program in Human Resource Management (MBA-HRM).

Selection process

Candidates who wish to get admission at Xavier University Bhubaneswar full time 2021 Master's program in Human Resource Management (MBA-HRM) should apply and appear for any one of the following tests like
  • CAT conducted by IIM on 29 November 2020
  • Or
  • XAT to be conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur on 3 January 2021
  • Or
  • GMAT 2019 or 2020 score
  • Or
  • NMAT to be conducted by GMAC during November 2020 – January 2021
  • Or
  • X-GMT (Xavier General Management Aptitude Test) to be conducted by Xavier University, at Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai on 31 January 2021. For X-GMT, the additional fee will be Rs 1200/-
  • Based on the scores obtained for XAT, CAT, GMAT, X-GMT, or NMAT, the candidates will be called for Group Discussion, Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview which will be conducted at Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Chennai or Mumbai
  • The final selection will be based on the candidate's performance in CAT/XAT/GMAT/NMAT/X-GMT, GD, Writing Ability Test, & Personal Interview. In addition, they will also consider the candidate's past academic record and relevant work experience.


Note: If you are opting for XAT/CAT, then you need to follow the advertisements and apply on time. Also, if you are not opting for X-GMT, then you need to register for CAT/XAT/GMAT/NMAT as this score is important for applying to the Master's program in Human Resource Management (MBA-HRM) offered by Xavier University Bhubaneswar. You are responsible for the travel/stay expenses for attending the interview session.

How to apply?

The application process to join Xavier University's MBA-HRM is easy. At first, you need to fill in the login details to create and receive by email the unique XU ID/ Login ID as well as Password for applying to Xavier University. Now if you have already received your XU ID/ Login ID and Password, then you can log in with your XU ID/ Login ID and Password. Here you need to fill in your details(personal, academic, professional), select the program you want to apply for and the respective test option/s, upload photos & signature and submit. After filling the application form and paying the application fees(mentioned below) successfully, the candidates will receive a confirmation mail regarding their online application form status.



Note: Be ready with scanned/digital images of your photo/signature in JPEG format. The dimensions of the signature may be about 250x125 pixels and that of the photo may be about 200x250 pixels. Both images should be within 50 kb each in size.

Application fees

Canddiates can pay the application fee through the Payment Gateway. For the first option, there will be an application fee of Rs.1600/- and for the subsequent options, they need to pay Rs 400/- each. Even if you are applying for multiple programs and/or through multiple tests, you can use a single form.
