How to apply for registration of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Crossword Competition 2020-21


Are you a student of class IX to XII? The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is organizing Crossword Competition 2020-21 for the students of 9th to 12th standard. Read this article to know about its online application procedure.

About BSEB Crossword Competition

To enhance the educational capability and linguistic knowledge, the Bihar School Examination Board has taken the initiative to conduct a competition named Crossword 2020-21. There will be three levels of the competition. Those are as follows:
  1. District level
  2. Division level
  3. State- level
Students have to take part in the district level competition initially and to do so they have to register themselves following the steps as mentioned below. Candidates who are registered will get an opportunity to prepare themselves by taking part in online practice sessions provided by the Board. Students will also get an opportunity to win a prize at the end of each week by participating in these online practice sessions.



According to the rules of crossword competition, a crossword puzzle will be provided to the students through the BSEB Crossword App or http://www.b3c.biharboardonline.com every day at 3:45 p.m. Students should try to give in time answer correctly based on which they will score marks and prizes will be awarded.

Who can apply

Only the students who are studying in class IX-XII in an educational institution affiliated to the Bihar School Examination Board are eligible to participate in the Crossword competition 2020-21 conducted by BSEB.

How to register

Students should follow the below- mentioned steps to register themselves in the competition:
  1. Download and install the "BSEB Crossword App" from Google Play Store or http://www.b3c.biharboardonline.com
  2. Open the App and click on "New User Register Here"
  3. Fill-up the form with the required information as asked for and save it
  4. An SMS containing your registration number and 4-digit password will be received at your registered mobile number
  5. Now, go to the "Home" page of the App again
  6. Click on "Existing User Login Here" link and log in by entering the registration number and password as received via SMS

Important dates

  • Students may register for themselves from 12th December 2020
  • Registered candidates may participate in an online practice session during 12th December 2020 to 12th January 2021
