How to apply online for IIFM, Bhopal admissions 2021 to Post Graduate Diploma course PGDFM & PGDSM

About the course

Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal was set up under the aegis of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate change, Government of India. The institute is presently asking for applications from the eligible candidates for admissions to the following courses for the 2021-2023 batch:

Seats

There are total 150 numbers of seats available in the course of PGDSM 2021 out of which 30 numbers of seats are reserved for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS). In the course of PGDSM, the intake capacity of Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal is 50. However, 15%, 7.5% and 27% of seats are also reserved for the candidates who belong to SC, ST and NC-OBC categories respectively.

Eligibility

Interested candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum % marks or equivalent CGPA awarded by any recognized university. Applicants who will appear in the final year exam of the Bachelor's degree or equivalent course and who appeared in the final year exam of the Bachelor's degree or equivalent course but yet to receive their results may also apply for the above course. But they have to submit a certificate issued by the Principal or Registrar of the respective college/institute declaring that the concerned student has already completed all necessary requirements to obtain the Bachelor's degree/equivalent as on the date of the certificate. The certificate must be submitted by 30th June 2021 to be allowed to join the course provisionally.

In addition to the above, candidates must apply to and clear the CAT 2020 / XAT 2021 exam. Candidates will be shortlisted by the score obtained by the candidates in CATT 2020 / XAT 2021.



Course & application fees

The candidates belong to the General, NC-OBC, DA and EWS categories have to pay a non-returnable course fee of Rs. 3,74,000/- for the first year and Rs. 2,49,640/- for the second year. However, the course fee is Rs. 2,24,640/- and Rs. 1,49,760/- respectively for the SC/ST candidates.

Candidates belonging to the General, NC-OBC, DA and EWS categories should pay an application fee of Rs. 1000 and the SC/ST candidates must deposit an application fee of Rs. 500 through debit/credit card or net banking during the online registration process of IIFM PGDFM & PGDSM 2021-23 applications.

Admission process

Candidates have to cross four hurdles during the admission process:
  1. As IIFM uses CAT/XAT scores to shortlist the candidates, applicants must apply, appear and clear CAT 2020 / XAT 2021 first of all.
  2. Shortlisted top-scorers of CAT/XAT have to appear to the Written Aptitude Test (WAT)
  3. Successful candidates will undergo a Group Discussion (GD) then
  4. Finally, the students will face a Personal Interview (PI)
The above processes will be hed in various popular cities like New Delhi, Kolkata, Kochi, Bangalore and Bhopal during March-April of 2021.

Application process

Candidates have to apply online through https://erp.iifmbhopal.edu.in/iifmapp/web_login following the below steps:
  1. Go to above webpage
  2. Put your name, valid email and mobile number at desired fields to register yourself
  3. Verify your mobile number with the OTP to login
  4. Fill the online application form carefully
  5. Upload the required documents
  6. Pay thr above said application fee
Alternatively, the admission brochure and application form may also be received personally or by post against submission of said application fee in form of a DD drawn in favor of Director, Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal.

Due date

Both the CAT and XAT applicants should complete online registration of applications for IIFM PGDFM & PGDSM 2021-23 programmes by 1st March 2021.
