Faculty of Management Studies(FMS) was established in the year 1954 as a part of the Delhi School of Economics and was later transformed into a full-fledged management institute. It is one of the oldest B-Schools in India currently operating under the the University of Delhi. Candidates must satisfy the below-mentioned eligibility conditions to apply for Master of Business Administration(MBA) admissions 2021 at FMS, Delhi.Application procedure for FMS MBA admissions 2021
Eligible candidates can register for MBA admissions at the official website of FMS. While registering, candidates should enter their name, location and a valid email and phone number. Once the registered email id is verified, candidates can log in using their credentials to fill the FMS online application form.
In the online application form, candidates should fill all the mandatory fields(*) and upload the scanned copy of recent passport-sized photography, signature, caste certificate and work experience certificate(if any). To successfully submit the application form for FMS admissions, candidates should pay the application form fee through any online payment gateway. After successful payment of the application form fee, the filled-in application form along with the documents uploaded will be submitted and an application number will be displayed. Candidates are requested to make a note of their application number because for any admission related enquires FMS will expect the candidate to quote their application number.
The last date to submit the online application form is 31st December 2020 (Midnight). Candidates cannot submit the online application form for MBA admissions after the specified time period.Selection process for FMS MBA admissions 2021
After processing all the submitted application forms FMS will shortlist the candidates for interview. While shortlisting the candidates for the interview process, the institute will assign different weightage to the scores of different sections of the CAT 2020 considering the factors such as Gender and academic disciplines. The weightage calculation will be like 40% to the scores of VARC ( Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension), 30% to DILR (Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning), and 30% to QA (Quantitative Ability) section of the CAT 2020 exam. For women candidates, an additional 5 marks will be added to the weighted score.
The interview for MBA admissions to the shortlisted candidates will be conducted through online mode. After the completion of interview process, FMS will finalize the candidates for MBA admission based on the following criteria and weight system
After completing the selection process for all the shortlisted candidates, FMS will declare the final list of selected candidates for the 2-year full-time MBA programme. At the time of admission, candidates must produce their original certificates and mark sheets. FMS will follow the reservation norms as issued by the University of Delhi. The total seats allotted for the programme is 250.
