WB Govt. WBCHSE exam schedule 2021 for class 11 & 12 Higher Secondary (HS) Uchcha Madhyamik Pariksha

Breaking news for the students appearing to the class XI-XI final year exam in 2021! WBCHS has announced the H.S. examination programmes. Generally, the exam is conducted in February-March every year, but due to the nation-wide spread of Covid-19, the exams will be conducted in the month of June this time. In addition to the HS exam dates, the council has also published the exam schedule of class XI. Both the exams of class XI and XII will commence on 15th June 2021. The council has also informed in a separate announcement that the practical examinations will be completed before the commencement of written examinations as given below. Madhyamik Pariksha 2021 will be held prior to the Uchcha Madhyamik exam.

Program of 2021 Uchcha Madhyamik Pariksha (New syllabus)

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has announced the detailed subject-wise program of the upcoming Higher Secondary exam 2021 through their Memo no. DS(Exam)/21/2020 dated 24.12.20. Every day, the examination for a single paper will be held in the morning shift for a duration of three hours and fifteen minutes. The examination will begin at 10:00 a.m. and ended at 1:15 p.m. The first 15 minutes will be allotted to read the question paper and the answer sheets will be handed over to the examinee at 10:15 a.m. Note that the duration of the exam for Music, Health & Physical Education, Visual Arts and Vocational subjects will be of two hours.

The detailed routine of Higher Secondary Examination 2021 is as follows:
  1. 15th June 2021, Tuesday: Bengali (A), English (A), Hindi (A), Nepali (A), Odia, Punjabi, Urdu, Telegu, Santhali and Gujarati
  2. 17th June 2021, Thursday: English (B), Bengali (B), Hindi (B), Nepali (B) and Alternative English
  3. 18th June 2021, Friday: Vocational subjects i.e. Aotomobile, Health Care, Security, Organized Retailing, IT and ITES
  4. 19th June 2021, Saturday: Biological Science, Political Science and Business Studies
  5. 21st June 2021, Monday: Mathematics, Agronomy, Anthropology, Phychology and History
  6. 22nd June 2021, Tuesday: Computer Science, Music, Health & Physical Education, Visual Arts, Environment Studies and Modern Coputer Application
  7. 24th June 2021, Thursday: Philosophy, Commercial Law and Priliminaries of Auditing and Sociology
  8. 26th June 2021, Saturday: Physics, Nutrition, Accountancy and Education
  9. 28th June 2021, Monday: Chemistry, Economics, Sanskrit, Journalism and Mass Communication, Parcian, French and Arabic

Note: As the tribals of the state celebrate their 'Hool Dibas festival' on 30th June every year, this exam date may be changed later although the council has not informed about the new date yet.

Practical annual test dates

All the practical examinations will be held between 10th March 2021 to 31st March 2021. The council has requested all the school/institution Heads through a separate notice to conduct all practical examinations at their own risk and responsibility considering the present situation of Corona spread. Accordingly, students have to know the subjects-wise practical exam dates from the school where they are studying. All schools have to send the marks of the practical exams to the council by 20th April 2021.



Schedule of class 11 final exam

The exams of class XI will be started at 2:00 p.m. and end at 5:15 p.m. All the rest of the rules will be the same as above.

The council has confirmed that all the practical tests for the 11th standard annual examination will be scheduled between 10th July 2021 to 26th July 2021.
