Being established in the year 1953 by the Syndicate of the Calcutta University, the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, Kolkata is the first management institute in India located in the heart of Kolkata. Indian's first B-school has now asking applications from the interested and eligible candidates for the 2-years regular course of Master of Business Administration (Human Resource Management), shortly known as MBA (HRA), for the academic year of 2021-2023. The offered course is awarded by the Calcutta University and approved by AICTE.Eligibility criteria
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with honors having at least 50% marks or any equivalent course where honors are not available. The course should be offered by a recognized university. Applicants having a graduate degree in any professional field like engineering etc. or 5-years LLB qualified from a recognized university may also apply for MBA (HRM) admission. Also, candidates who will be appeared in the final examination of the above courses within June 2021 are also eligible to apply for admission to MBA (HRM).
Admission process
The cut-off mark of CAT scores obtained by the candidates from the IIM admission committee will be considered to shortlist the candidates initially. Those shortlisted candidates will then be called for a group discussion and personal interview at IISWBM, Kolkata. Based on the merit, the final list of selected candidates will be prepared by the institute. GMAT will be considered for foreign applicants.Course fee
Selected students have to pay Rs. 2,54,000/- and Rs. 2,41,000/- for the 1st and 2nd year respectively. Thus the total fee for the entire course will be Rs. 4,95,000/-. In addition to the above, all students have to deposit non-refundable fees of Rs. 5000/- each against Library Caution Deposit and Security Deposit in 1st year.Application procedure
