Overview Technology has made great strides in the field of education, none more so than in the past year due to the virus pandemic, with the learning-teaching experience going wholly off-campus into screens of a variety of devices. Online coaching platforms and apps have thrived, such as those offered by BYJU's, Khan Academy, Unacademy, etc. They not only offer online lessons for school students appearing for their major Board exams of Class 10 and 12, but also for competitive exams like UPSC, NEET, JEE, etc Just recently launched is FIITJEE's free Live online classroom programs.
Now Amazon Academy has jumped on the bandwagon, too, and is offering free live lessons, mock tests, etc for those who are preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) engineering exams. There are also micro-lessons for students of Class 11 and Class 12, that is, concepts are taught in a systematic chapter-wise manner.
A free crash course of six weeks' duration was started on 6th Jan 2021 to revise the entire JEE syllabus covering Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

That is, it is still in its nascent stages of development since actually, it is their own earlier JEE Ready app with fine-tuning in progress. Maybe that is why currently it is free! Features and benefits of Amazon Academy JEE online coaching
The complete picture You won't be getting any piecemeal lessons, meaning just parts here and there of the JEE syllabus. The Amazon Academy's curriculum will offer lessons that incorporate every aspect of both, the JEE Main and the JEE Advanced, syllabi. You get to attend the online classes in real-time, that is, get lessons live from qualified faculty. In case you do not understand something that is taught during the live class, you can use the chatbox at that time itself to raise your queries.
The skillful tools Have you heard about the unique learning tool called mnemonics? It helps to process a large amount of data into a compact manner that could be an acronym or a visual image or some rhyme. I recall the example a school teacher had once mentioned: the order of the nine planets in our solar system - Mercury, Venus, Earth. Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto – can be remembered with the mischievous phrase 'My Very Educated Mother Just Sat Upon Nine Pins'!! Mnemonics is one of the many ways that Amazon Academy uses to teach you how to mentally retain key elements and provides useful tips as well to solve a problem in a short time.
The path of preparation There is no better way to prepare for an exam – any exam – than to work on previous years' question papers to gain confidence in dealing with the type of likely questions that will actually be asked when you appear for the exam. What's more, the more you practice the better you will get in working on the time factor, that is, the ability to complete the exam before the clock wears down. Hence, Amazon Academy has a repository of thousands of questions (over 15k they say!). An interesting feature of this pool of papers is that you can try out various levels of tricky questions, the most simple ones to the toughest. More information is coming up on the practice tests; in the meanwhile, right away you can try out some practice tests.
The evaluation process Amazon Academy has provided a structured test series (you get updates on the schedule well in advance) which includes-
A Full Test: Of 180 minutes' duration, this test has questions incorporating the entire syllabus and thus provides a pretty accurate simulation of an actual JEE exam.
A Part Test: Also of 180 minutes' duration, in this test, you will be practising on a group of chapters.
A Chapter Test: Of 60 minutes' duration, you will get to practice on a specific chapter.
The plus point of these tests is that they enable you to improve your scores. A detailed personalized report will be issued to let you know exactly in which part of the syllabus you are weak and need to work on it, and in which part you are an ace.
AIMT In addition to the afore-mentioned series of tests, you can appear for the national level mock test of Amazon Academy, namely, the All India Mock Test (AIMT) series that is available for both, Class 11 and Class 12 students. This is the ultimate evaluation, an eye-opener to know exactly how well-prepared you are through the All-India rank and percentile scores, and provides a comparison with your peers who have enrolled at Amazon Academy.
Note: It is important to subscribe to updates in order not to miss out on the schedule of the Tests, including of AIMT.
Where to enroll for free at Amazon Academy There are two options to enroll and start your online classes:
