About the Prathibha ScholarshipThe Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science &Technology, Kerala, promotes the development programme through Science and Technology. The Prathibha Scholarship Programme is one initiative of Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment, Kerala, which is awarded to the Science students. The scholarship scheme is for meritorious students of Kerala only. The program is aimed to support aspiring students for higher studies and a career in Science.
Details of ScholarshipThe scholarship is for the students who are studying in undergraduate programmes specifically in Basic / Natural Sciences. Prathibha Scholarship recipient who has availed this scholarship in all three years of undergraduate course and qualified their course with more than 75% marks will be eligible to continue the scholarship in their postgraduate studies. Under this scheme, at least 50% of seats are reserved for girls' students and 10% for SC/ST students. The scholarship will provide opportunities to 8 Prathibha scholars in science subjects (2 scholars-biology, 2 scholars-Chemistry, 2 scholars-Mathematics and 2 scholars-Physics) for participation in summer programmes at IISER-Trivandrum. Prathibha Scholarship recipient will also get opportunities for attending Science Enrichment Programmes and summer internships in reputed National and State level R&D institutions in Kerala.
Scholarship AmountThe student who will be selected for the Prathibha scholarship scheme will receive the scholarship at the rate of:

Application ProcedureStage 1: Online Registration
The candidate who wants to apply for the Prathibha Scholarship Scheme will have to apply through online portal only. Students who are going to apply for the scholarship scheme must visit and read the guidelines available on the official website of KSCSTE. First, the applicant must register online on the website of KSCSTE. To get register themselves, the candidates need a valid Mobile number and accessible E-mail ID. The applicant will have to fill personal details such as Name, Date of Birth, Higher Secondary Education Roll no., Mobile no. and Email ID. Upon submitting details an OTP will be received on Email that must be entered the space provided and a 6-character password must be created. After the successful registration, an application number will be generated. The candidate will receive the application number along with the password on his/her registered email ID. After registration, the candidate must log in using login credentials and fill the online application form and also upload a recent passport size photograph (Image-150W ×200H pixels).
Stage 2: After the publication of Provisional Rank List
Selection of the students for this scholarship scheme shall be based on total marks secured in all science subjects in 12th examination.
KSCSTE will prepare the Provisional Rank List (PRL) based on the applications received and publish this PRL on their website. Upon publication of PRL, selected students (who are in PRL list) will have to upload the following relevant documents on the Prathibha scholarship web portal for confirmation of scholarship:
The only timely submitted application will be considered for final ranking. The final Rank List of selected students shall be prepared after documents verification.
