The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Banking and Financial Services) is a residential course of two years' duration over six semesters. The contemporary curriculum ensures that your academic study is in sync with the current and upcoming trends in the financial sector. You thus learn fundamental concepts related to management education vis-à-vis banking and finance fields, as well as dive into an understanding of International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS), management of Non-Performing Assets (NPA), and acquire important business analytical skills.

There is an internship of seven to eight weeks as well, wherein an Executive of the organization where you intern will assign tasks for you and act as your mentor and guide. The Faculty Guide of NIBM, Pune will be the facilitator between you and the Executive Guide of that organization.
When you are not studying or attending rigorous academic lectures, you can relax by joining in the activities of the Sports Club or the Literary Club. There are also beneficial workshops and seminars and interesting panel discussions that are conducted by the E-Cell of the Entrepreneurs' Club.

You can avail of education loans through State Bank of India, PNB , Union Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, etc as per the special terms and conditions that are offered to NIBM students.Eligibility requirements
Academic Qualifications: You must have a Bachelor's Degree from a UGC-recognized university, with a minimum score of 50% marks in the qualifying Degree exam or equivalent CGPA (a minimum of 45% marks is acceptable for those applying in the reserved category) or have an equivalent qualification recognized by the HRD Ministry, Govt. of India. If you are appearing for the final Degree exam or an equivalent qualification exam, or have completed the degree requirement and are awaiting results, then also you are eligible to seek admission to this course. In such a case, though, you must produce a certificate no later than 30th June 2021 from the Principal/Head of the Department/Registrar/Director of the University or institution that you are currently in the final year (or awaiting final results, as the case may be) and have secured a minimum of 50% or equivalent based on the latest available grades/marks. You will then get provisional admission and only on submission of the mark sheet and certificate of having passed the Degree exam/equivalent exam, the admission will be confirmed.
You must have a valid CAT 2020 score or XAT 2021 score or CMAT 2021 score. How to apply
Applications should be submitted online along with the application fee at the online application portal for NIBM Pune PGDM admissions.Selection procedure
Based on the CAT 2020/XAT 2021/CMAT 2021 score, as the case may be, candidates will be called for a Writing Ability Test (WAT)/Oral Communication Test and a Personal Interview (PI) in the month of April 2021. Note that the tests will be conducted based on the prevailing pandemic scenario, and as per AICTE guidelines.
