This seems to be a good professional course for those who have an inclination towards designing and development related to footwears especially in the fashion and modern footwear industry today. There was a time when a shoe or sandal was bought only for the purpose of a need to walk in the open. That was the only basic utility at that time. With the fashion industry progressing in leaps and bounds there was a need felt for including shoe or sandal also in the overall get up and attire of the persons and many celebrities started to sponsor the new designs of these accessories. The concept of matching of a shoe or sandal with the dress as well as the occasion, the use of high heels for increasing the apparent heights, and other such considerations had given a boost to this industry and today if we go to a shoe shop the shopkeeper presents us a myriad of collections and options out of which we can select our choice depending on what is the main purpose for which we are planning to wear that piece of shoe. Considering all these factors, it makes sense to pursue this course especially by those students who do not have much inclination for the usual academic courses and have a liking for professional courses like this one.
