Online applications open for L&T Build-India scholarship-cum-recruitment 2021

L&T Construction invites applications for the 2021 Build-India Scholarship (BIS) for graduates keen to pursue higher studies in the field of construction. The company will pay for the postgraduate M. Tech. course in Construction Technology & Management at select premier institutes in the country. Successful completion of the course will lead to an opportunity to get directly recruited with L&T Construction in work that is related to project management and execution. Prior to starting the M.Tech. program, the selected applicants must sign an undertaking for a value of Rs. 5lakhs to complete the course and subsequently, if selected to join the company, will work for it for at least five years.

You should be studying in engineering undergraduate course in the core fields of civil engineering or electrical engineering, expecting to graduate in June-August 2021 from a recognized university in India or institute. You must have a consistently good academic record with an academic aggregate of at least 70% and above or 7.0 CGPA out of 10 till the sixth semesters of the B.E./B.Tech. program.
Note that those who are enrolled for a course in Mechanical Engineering are not eligible to apply and those who graduated last year in 20202 or prior to that are not eligible to apply.Features of the Scholarship scheme
The M.Tech. course will be of two years' duration (24 months) starting in August 2021, at one of these premier institutes-

There will be actual projects to work on at various sites of the and mentoring will be done by those who have completed the scholarship program in previous years.
Course fee: You do not have to pay the tuition fee of the course as this will be paid by L&T Construction. The hostel accommodation fee and the mess fee has to be borne by you. You will not receive the sponsorship and tuition fee directly, but this will be paid directly to the institute.
Stipend: You will receive a fixed monthly stipend of Rs.13,400/-.
Scholarship selection process
The selection process is of three stages. First, you have to appear for an online written test that will have questions related to the subject, along with aptitude questions. The next stage is the personal interview for those who are successful in the written test. This will be a personal interview conducted by IIT Madras/IIT Delhi, NIT Surathkal/Trichy in coordination with L&T. Those who qualify through the interview will then have to pass a test for medical fitness. How to apply for L&T BIS-2021
Applications will be accepted only in online mode after filling in the Build-India scholarship 2021 registration page. During the online application, you are required to upload scanned copies of relevant certificates, a valid photo ID, a recent photo, and your signature. It is suggested to read the User Guide before you start applying.
After the screening of the applications, shortlisted candidates will be intimated and have to appear for the online written test as mentioned above.Schedule
