Are you looking for the 2021 admission notification for the BSc, MSc, and Ph.D. programs of the Chennai Mathematical Institute (CM) in Tamil Nadu, India? This article provides complete information on the dates of admission to the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs offered by CMI for the academic session starting in 2021. Overview
Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI) has announced the opening of online admissions for undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs for the academic session 2021-22 from 1st May 2021. An autonomous institute since 1996, a recent media report cited CMI as such a popular institute that more students aspire to get into it than the prestigious IITs! This is not really surprising, as, from its fledgling start in 1989, CMI's programs have expanded into unique ones that combine various fields of Mathematical Sciences. For some of the programs, partial or full fee waivers may be given for those from low-income families. Those seeking admission to any of the programs have to appear for an entrance test that is scheduled for June 2021. In the case of the Ph.D. Physics program, students have to appear for a Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST).
