About Programme

Amity Institute of Molecular Medicine & Stem Cell Research (AIMMSCR), Amity University, Noida has released an official notification (Adv/AUUP/HR/21/090) for an internship Programme for Life Sciences Students for 2021. University is offering the internship scheme launched by the Department of Science & Technology (DST) under the "Vritika" programme. This programme aims to provide internship opportunities to highly motivated post-graduate students from Government or Private universities/college/institutes, etc. During the internship period, the research abilities will be developed among the interns. They will gain practical knowledge in the field of science and technology. The internship will facilitate the research-oriented students who want to make their career in the selected areas of science and technology.

Benefits to the interns

University will provide financial support to the interns during the internship period. The interns will receive a stipend of Rs.15,000/- per month. This amount can be utilized for meeting daily essential expenses such as food, stationery and other consumables and accommodation. Students will be supervised by highly qualified faculty.

The duration of the internship

The internship at Amity University will be short term. The duration of the internship will be two months from 1st May to 30th June 2021.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates seeking internship opportunities at Amity University must have a post-graduate degree in Life Sciences or Allied subjects. They must have preliminary knowledge in cell and molecular biology, cell culture and stem cell biology.

The candidates who are desirous to join an internship at Amity University must check the official notification by visiting the official website of Amity University. The eligible and interested candidates can apply by sending their updated Curriculum Vitae to the university email ID on bcdas@amity.edu with cc to sushils@amity.edu. Mention "the position applied for" in the subject line of the email. The application must be accompanied by an authentication letter issued from the Supervisor or Head of the Department or Head of the Institute indicating their association with the institute. A "No Objection Certificate (NOC)" must also be produced with the application allowing students for internship.
