About the programme
HDFC Bank is one of India's top banking and known as a financial service provider. It has introduced this scholarship as part of its flagship programme – Educational Crisis Scholarship (ECS). It has started various projects in the field of education and livelihood training as part of its social initiative - Parivartan. HDFC Bank Parivartan's ECS Scholarship 2021-22 is a distinctive scholarship programme offered by the HDFC Bank to support the deserving and needy students coming from underprivileged sections of the society. Under this scholarship, the students studying in Class 6 to 12th and those pursuing UG and PG courses will get financial assistance of up to INR 75,000. The aim of this scholarship is to support financially weak student and those who are at risk of drop out of school due to financial problem. The scholarship programme is meant to financially support meritorious and needy students studying in Class 6 to PG level. Details of scholarship
The students who fulfil the eligibility criteria and qualify the selection criteria are provided with the financial support of up to INR 75,000 for their further studies. The amount of scholarship may vary based on your current academic qualification. The scholarship shall be renewed every year. The selected candidates can apply for the Scholarship Renewal Programme. The duration of the Scholarship is for two years. The candidates will be able to avail the amount as per the duration. It is important that the candidate keeps a steady score in the course they are pursuing. The candidate must reapply and re-qualify for the Scholarship each year. For renewal, the scholarship recipient will have to apply again for the next year of the study by submitting the passing mark sheet/ certificate along with a letter from the Head of the Institution on the National Scholarship Portal. The candidates who fail to provide the passing certificate/mark sheet will lose the scholarship.Eligibility criteria

Interested candidates can check the details and apply through the official website of the HDFC scholarship scheme and upload the following documents after scanning them-
1. Passport size photograph
2. Last year's mark sheets (2019-20)
3. Identity proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Driving License)
4. Current Year Admission Proof (Fee Receipt/Admission Letter/Institution ID Card/Bonafide Certificate) (2020-21)
5. Applicant Bank Passbook/Cancelled Cheque (Information will also be captured in the application form)
6. Income Proof (any of the three proofs given below)
7. Income Proof issued by Gram Panchayat/Ward Counsellor/Sarpanch
8. Income Proof issued by SDM/DM/CO/Tehsildar
9. Affidavit
Selection Criteria
Mere fulfilment of the eligibility criteria is not guaranteed your selection for the scholarship. The candidate will be shortlisted on the basis of academic merit and financial requirement.
