Army Head Quarters Western Command has issued the admission notice to Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) Professional Institutions under Western Command for the 2021-22 academic session. You can check the admission brochure of each institute for details on education loans and scholarship schemes, and ensure that you fulfil the eligibility requirements of both, educational qualifications and age criteria, before applying and paying the application fee.

Army College of Nursing (ACN) Jalandhar Cantt.

ACN is offering a four-year B.Sc. Nursing course only for girls for which there are 60 seats for the wards of female dependent wards of serving Army personnel, eligible Retired Army personnel, war widows (Veer Naaris), and the widows of Army personnel only. The college is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi, and is affiliated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.

Course fee: The total fee is Rs.30,600/-, including hostel charges.



Eligibility

You should have passed the 10+2 Higher Secondary exam in the first attempt with a minimum of 45% marks taken together in PCB. The last two years should include the study of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics or any other elective subjects, and English. You can check the admission brochure to know other equivalent accepted educational qualifications.

Age criteria- You should not be less than 17 years and not more than 25 years on 31st December 2021, as per the date of birth recorded in the Secondary Education Board.

Admission schedule

The Online Admission Test (OTA) for the B.Sc. Nursing course will be conducted by the Army Institute of Nursing (AIN), Guwahati on 27th June 2021 (Sunday), 1430hrs -1630hrs. Access to a Mock Test will be available on 17th June 2021.

Online registrations are now open at the official website of Army Institute of Nursing, Guwahati and the closing date, along with fee payment, is 15th May 2021. Note that the fee has to be paid online only to AIN, Guwahati for both, ACN and AIN colleges.

Online registration with a late fee payment will be accepted from 16th May to 31st May 2021. Admit cards can be downloaded from the AIN Guwahati website for both AIN and ACN candidates from 12th June 2021 onwards. The result of OTA will be declared on 11th July 2021 at the websites of ACN, AIN and HQ AWES.

Army Institute of Law (AIL) Mohali

AIL, which is affiliated with the Punjabi University, Patiala and approved by the Bar Council of India, is offering two Law programs.

The B.A. LLB five-year integrated course has 60 seats for wards of Army personnel/Ex-servicemen, 16 seats for civilians who are residents of Punjab, and four seats for All-India civilians.

Course fee: The fee for the academic session of 2021 has not yet been updated on the official website of the Army Institute of Law. For the previous year 2020-21, the fee (Grand Total) for B.A.LLB was Rs. 2,35,583/- (Army) and Rs. 2,76,214/- (Civilians); for LLM it was Rs.1,54,739/-.

Eligibility: You should have passed the 10+2 exam from the Punjab School Education Board or any other equivalent exam recognized as such by the Punjabi University, Patiala, with a minimum of 45% marks.

Admission schedule: An Online Test for admission to the B.A. LLB five-year integrated course will be held by the college in May/June 2021.

The one-year LLM course has 12 seats for wards of Army personnel, two seats for civilians who are residents of Punjab, and one seat for All-India civilians.

Eligibility: You should have scored a minimum of 55% marks in BA LLB (5 years) or LLB (3 years), as per the norms of Punjabi University.

Admission schedule: There will be an entrance test/qualifying exam for the LLM course of which the marks will be decided by the University. Details will be updated on the official website.

Army Institute of Education (AIE) Greater Noida

AIE, which is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi is offering two B.Ed. programs.

The B.Ed. program of two years has 100 seats which are only for the wards, wives, and the widows of Army Personnel (Serving/Retired). The course is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The B.Ed. Special Education(Learning Disability) program of two years has 30 seats which are only for the wards, wives, and the widows of Army Personnel (Serving/Retired). The course is approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

Course fee: as per GGSIPU norms.



Eligibility for both programs: Graduation and/or Post Graduation with 50 % marks in any discipline (5% relaxation of marks by GGSIPU forwards and dependents of Defence personnel).

Admission schedule for both programs: An online Common Entrance Test (CET) will be conducted by GGSIPU during May/June 2021. Registrations are open now and you can apply for both the B.Ed. and the B.Ed. Special Education(Learning Disability) programs by filing a separate application form for each at the GGSIPU official website.

Army Institute of Management and Technology (AIMT) Greater Noida

AIMT, which is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIP), Delhi is offering two management courses. The MBA course of two years has 120 seats for the wards of eligible serving Army personnel, ex-Army personnel and the war widows of the Army.

Course fee: For the earlier 2020-22 batch, the total fee for the two years, including the hostel fee, was Rs. 4,76,712/-. The fee for this year's batch has not been put up on the official website.

Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree (three-year recognized course) in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or passed the final exam of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Admission schedule: Admission to the MBA course will be based on the scores of Common Admission Test (CAT), Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) and a Common Entrance Test (CET) by the affiliating university.

The BBA course of three years 60 seats for the wards of eligible serving Army personnel, ex-Army personnel and the war widows of the Army.

Course fee: The total fee for the three years, including the hostel fee, for the 2020-23 batch was Rs. 6,10,162/-.

Eligibility: Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.

Admission schedule: Admission to the BBA course will be based on the scores of a Common Entrance Test (CET) by the affiliating university.

Army College of Medical Sciences (ACMS) Delhi Cantt.

ACMS, which is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi is offering a 4 ½ years' MBBS course for which there are 79 seats for wards of Army personnel/Ex-servicemen, and 21 seats are reserved for SC, ST, and PH candidates.

Course fee: Tuition fee Rs. 4,32,000/- + University Fee Rs.15000/- + Student Activity Fee Rs. 1000/- + Alumni Fee Rs. 5000/- (new admissions).



Eligibility: passed the 12th Class under the 10+2 Scheme/Senior School Certificate exam (CSBE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an equivalent exam of a recognised University/ Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology with a minimum aggregate of 60% (50% for SC, ST candidates) [note- confirm the percentage required as the GGSIPU university brochure mentions it as min.50% and min.40% for SC, ST, OBC candidates]. Age criteria: You should have attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as of the 31st of December of the year of admission.

Admission schedule: Admission to the MBBS course at ACMS will be based on the score obtained through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) score.
