Cellular and Molecular Biology is a very interesting as well as an important area for research especially keeping in view the recently increased virus threats in the world and the efforts of the research scientists to fight with them. This is imperative that any research which helps in this mitigation will be rewarded suitably. In addition to this remunerative viewpoint, the research in this niche area is going to help the individual to make a good career in the medical and pharmaceutical industry.

Cellular and Molecular Biology deals with the studies related to the structure, properties, and interactions of the biological cells with their environment, especially in a living environment. As the size of the cells is very small it is natural that the studies will be done at a microscopic level with indirect methods to see the behaviour of these cells. The cells have a complicated mechanism and they have got certain characteristics that help the scientists to distinguish them from one type to another and see their propagation and multiplying behaviour either within the group of the same cells or while interacting with some alien cells. This area is very vital and helps in understanding the body mechanisms dealing with antibodies and response of the human bodies to the cells invading from the outside environment. Then another interesting area is mutation and changes in the cell during the cell evolutionary processes which also create a lot of difference in the nature and character of these cells.
