The Institute of Human Resources Development also known as IHRD, established by the Government of Kerala is currently inviting applications for admission to the PG Diploma in Cyber Forensics and Security(PGDCF) conducting at the College of Engineering Kallooppara. This 6-month course will provide lots of employment opportunities for the candidates who wish to get a job in the private or public sector. English is the medium of instruction in this course. The course content includes topics such as Ethical Hacking, Basics of Cyber Forensics, Malware Forensics, OS and File System Forensics & Network Security. The lab experiments in Cyber Forensics and Ethical Hacking will be carried out based on NSDC Qualification Packs- Forensic Specialist (SSC/Q0922) and Penetration Tester (SSC/Q0912) with the help of a Skill Knowledge Provider (SKP). In addition, the course content includes project work and internship for a minimum of 2 weeks duration.
Immediately after the completion of the PG Diploma in Cyber Forensics and Security(PGDCF) 2021 course, the final exam will be conducted by the IHRD. Only the candidates who have secured a minimum of 75% of the attendance during the course are eligible for registration for the examination. The minimum marks required for a pass in each subject will be 50% of the maximum marks. However, an individual needs a minimum of 40% for theory/practical and Continuous Evaluation (CE) of each subject separately. No provision will be given for improving CE marks unless the candidate repeats the course. All successful candidates will be awarded a Post Graduate Diploma by the IHRD. But if you need a provisional certificate
within 6 months from the date of result publication, you can do it in a prescribed format duly recommended by the head of the training centre and must be submitted to the Director, IHRD, along with the prescribed fees and proof of Identity.
Age limit
For general candidates, the upper age limit is 50 years. But for SC/ST candidates, the age limit will be specified by the SC/ST Development Department.Eligibility
Candidates with a qualification in B.Tech/M.Tech/BCA /MCA/B.Sc/M.Sc Computer Science are eligible to apply for the PG Diploma in Cyber Forensics and Security (PGDCF) conducted by IHRD at Kallooppara Engineering College. Those who have appeared in the qualifying examination and awaiting results can also apply provided they must produce original mark lists up to the last semester/year of examination during the time of admission.Application form and mode of submission

How to reach the College of Engineering Kallooppara?
If you are traveling to the College of Engineering Kallooppara for the first time, try any of the following options to reach the destination. From Thiruvalla, if you are traveling by car, then drive via Thiruvalla-Kumbazha Hwy (or) Thiruvalla-Kumbazha Hwy and Puramattom - Puthussery Rd (or) Njalikandam - Kadamankulam Rd. It takes only 20-25 minutes to cover that 12-15 km to reach the College. But if you are traveling by car from Kallooppara to reach the College of Engineering, take the route via Marthoma Church Rd (or) M.North Kallooppara Rd and Ikerapadi - Karutha Vadasseri Kadavu Rd. In 10 minutes, your destination will be reached. Bus services are also available from Thiruvalla to reach the destination.
