Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram (IISER TVM) has released an official notification and invited applications from highly motivated students for admission to the Integrated PhD programme for the session August 2021(Varsha 2021). Eligible candidates can apply through the online portal only.

Eligibility Requirements
School of Biological Sciences
School of Chemical Sciences The candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Sciences. They must have scored a minimum of 55% marks for General/OBC-NCL candidates or a CGPA of 6.0 on the 10-point scale and a minimum of 50% marks for SC/ST and PwD candidates or a CGPA of 5.5 on the 10-point scale.

Important Note: Students who are going to appear in the final year Bachelor degree examination are also eligible to apply.
Reservation Policy: The candidates belonging to SC/ST, OBC, PWD, EWS and other reserved categories will get a normal reservation to the eligibility criteria as per Government of India norms.
Application Process
The candidates who wish to get admission in Integrated PhD programmes at IISER TVM must visit the official website of IISER TVM and read the instructions carefully before filling up the application form. The candidates will have to fill the application for the Integrated PhD programme of IISER TVM online using the institute's online application portal. The link to the application portal has been provided at the end of this article. Candidates must note the only online application will be accepted hence, no need to send a hard copy of the application form to the institute. All the required details must be filled in the application form carefully and the complete application must be submitted along with the required documents. An acknowledgement email with an application number will be sent to the candidate's registered email ID upon successful submission of the online application. If the candidates will have any application-related query, they may send their queries to the PhD coordinator at email: iphdadmission@iisertvm.ac.in. IISER TVM will not entertain any other mode of communication. Please note that the candidates who are applying to individual/different schools through different streams such as JGEEBILS or JAM will have to fill separate application forms along with the separate fee for each application.

For the final selection in the integrated PhD programme at IISER TVM, only short-listed candidates will be called for an online interview. The interview will be held at IISER TVM.
School of Biological Sciences: Selection of the candidates will be based on the academic scores and interview. The candidates will be shortlisted based on marks or scores from each of the two streams. Only short-listed candidates will be called for one or two rounds of online interviews.
School of Chemical Sciences: There will be one or two rounds of interview. Shortlisted candidates will appear in the online interview at IISER TVM. JAM 2021 qualified candidates will appear for only one round of interview.
School of Mathematical Sciences: To be eligible for selection in the integrated PhD course, the candidate will have to fulfil minimum eligibility criteria and only shortlisted candidates will be called for one or two rounds of online interviews. Applicants can check the syllabus for the interview on the website of IISER TVM.
School of Physical Sciences: Final selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in interviews conducted at IISER TVM. Interviews will be conducted online at the institute.
