Tablet PC: There are two types of Tabs available online or offline. There are a few Tabs that come as budget ones or with pocket-friendly, with customer service (in case of any issue), warranty and so on, compared to non-branded one. It is also better to buy with the SIM option to get direct network connectivity. Buy a Tab above 3GB RAM and other features.
Laptop: This one is quite expensive compared to a Tab. The tablet PC comes with a SIM card option with an extra very few thousand rupees whereas most of the laptops are coming without SIM option and users have to use WiFi connectivity etc. separately. Laptop convenience is entirely different from Tab with a touch-integrated option besides other latest features in the tab.
Headphones or Earphones: You can buy below a hundred rupees an earphone or headphone but you may not sure how many days they will last. So, it is better to buy a reputed brand that comes with the quality and best features suiting your online education needs. 
I would suggest you buy a flat wired earphone or headphone rather than a rounded wire one from the brand. You would experience its long-term usage. Buy anything with quality adjusting the price category. Beware of duplicate products with brand logos.
Storage: You can buy a pen drive at a cheaper price with a higher GB internal memory. The external hard disk might cost you more when compared to others, unless if you need an external disk at any cost with a heavy project ongoing.
Smartphone: The device may be helpful for emergency purposes but not suitable for various online courses. The Tab is better in terms of screen size 7-inch and above compared to a smartphone that comes with below 6-inch or 7-inch with less diagonal area.
Earbuds: Though earbuds help in reality via Bluetooth connectivity, you have to invest a few thousand bucks to buy a better one of a brand. The local one won't help you much with communication. 
Also, the earbud's battery lasts around two hours only after fully charged, and then again you have to recharge it. You may get interrupted while online education going on. Earphone or Headphone is quite different from this for sure.
Software and Apps: A Tab would get many features or apps for a better online education system and at the same time a laptop too would get customized options similar to online education. Although both differ in the software or app area and still you can use any of them.
Accessories: In addition to the above, you may need other accessories for either Tab or Laptop to protect it. You may get a Tab mini-keyboard, protection cover/case, and so on. Likewise, you may get a small mouse for a laptop and protection case, etc. If you buy branded accessories for a Tab or Laptop then well and good and if not then still you need to buy non-branded protection accessories to safeguard the main devices.
