The course of B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics and Computing is designed for those who have an affection for Mathematics and want to build their career in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science. After completing the course students may further be associated with Masters degree courses or any integrated PhD program offered by any reputed R&D institution or foreign university. Alternatively, they may build their career in research or academics or any corporate sector.Seat availability
The total intake capacity in this course is 30 including the numbers of students under reserved categories.Eligibility
Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary examination with Mathematics and English as subjects may take admission to this course.Admission & Course fees
The candidates willing to pursue this course have to pay an admission fee of Rs. 15,000/-. The course fee is Rs. 20,000/- each for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year. Hostel accommodation and other fees are extra.2-years MA/ M.Sc in Computational Finance (PG Program)

An admission fee of Rs. 50,000/- should be paid by the candidates who want to take admission in this course. The course fee is of Rs. 65,000/- in each year. However, fees required for hostel accommodation and others are excluded above.2-years MA/ M.Sc in Mathematics in Data Science (PG Program)
The course is designed based on Mathematics, Statistics, Computation, Data Analysis etc. In the present scenario, the demand of data scientist is being increased in the corporate sector day by day to predict what is going to happen based on the past data which has already happened. Students will obtain a rigid foundation in mathematics to play the above role in the corporate sector in addition to the career opportunity in academics as well.Intake capacity

Candidates who are going to pursue this course should have a graduation degree with Mathematics or Statistics as an honours/ pass subject.Admission & Course fees
Students should deposit Rs. 50,000/- as admission fee during the admission process and Rs. 75,000/- each year as the course fee. However, fees required for hostel accommodation and others have not been considered above.Selection procedure
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the merit of an entrance test having two and half hours duration for admission to IMA UG and PG programs as mentioned above. The entrance test will be held in Ahmedabad, Balasore, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Brahmapur, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kanpur, Kerala, Kolkata, Koraput, Mumbai, Rajsthan, Raipur, Sambalpur and Surathkal. Applicants have to select any three centres from the above. However, the institute will have full right to allot the centre of the entrance test. Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination may also apply for the above courses but have to submit their mark sheet of qualifying exam along with a provisional certificate and school or college leaving certificate at the time of admission. Notice on admit card, test centres etc. will be published at https://iomaorissa.ac.in/admissions.Application fee
Candidates belonging to the general category must deposit an application fee of Rs. 700/- to apply for any of the above courses and the students under Odisha state domicile ST/SC categories have to pay Rs. 400/- as an application fee. The application fee should be deposited in Account no - 914010022030086, IFSC code: UTIB0002502, Axis Bank, Bhubaneswar. The self-attested photocopy of the deposit slip of the application fee should be enclosed along with the application form and the transaction number must be mentioned in the dedicated space on the application form. In case candidates are not able to pay the application fee online, a DD of the required amount drawn in favour of "The Director, IMA, Bhubaneswar" payable at Bhubaneswar should be enclosed with the application form and the details of the DD must be written on the appropriate space furnished on the application form.Application process
Filled in application form in a prescribed format available at https://iomaorissa.ac.in/admissions along with below given all enclosures and payment slip of application fee or original DD kept in a sealed envelop superscribed by "APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO __________ COURSE (mention either PG or UG)" should be sent to the Academic Coordinator, Institute of Mathematics and Applications, Andharua, Bhubaneswar-751029 by speed post or registered post.
