About École Intuit Lab

With a vision of building a culture, not limited only to a school, where creativity is nurtured to revolutionize the designs École Intuit Lab started its journey in 2001 in France by three veterans of industry Patrick Felices, Clément Derock and Frederic Lalande. It has five campuses all over the world and two of the campuses are there in India. One is in Mumbai and the other one is in Kolkata. The Mumbai campus was established in 2011 and the campus in Kolkata started its operation in collaboration with Techno India University in 2019. Since then there is no looking back for École Intuit Lab. It has top quality of faculties and the courses are modelled keeping in mind the creativity and the latest technology.

Advantages of taking up these courses

In many of the undergraduate programs, students get the opportunity to explore the world where they can take up a semester overseas at any of the international campuses of École Intuit Lab. All the students in Lab 3 are offered a visit to the campuses in France for two weeks. To absorb the creativity and culture of different countries students are offered trips of 10-15 days along with educational workshops.

Bachelor in Visual Communication & Digital Design

This 4 years Bachelor's degree program is accredited by AICTE. The 4-year program has 4 modules Lab 1, Lab 2, Lab 3, Lab 4 and two internships in between.

  • Lab 1 focuses on Foundation Studies where students learn Analytical drawing, Live model sketching, Outdoor sketching, Colour, Sketching, Creativity, Illustration, Visual Communication, Volume, Photography, Perspective, Human Sciences, History of art, etc.
  • Lab 2 focuses on Design Principles & Techniques where students are acquainted with Graphic design, Page layout, Typography, Web design, Computer graphics, Branding, Photography, Illustration, Creative writing, Motion design, Storyboarding, Graphic culture, Human sciences, International workshop and 3-day Print House internship.
  • After Lab 2, there is a Short Internship of 1-2 months duration that gives the students the initial experience in the creative field and design industry.
  • Lab 3 focuses on Concepts & Communication with Design where students learn 3D, Computer graphics, Advertising, Editorial Design, Motion Design, Digital Design, Packaging, Copywriting, Graphic design, Art direction, Human Sciences, etc.
  • After completion of Lab 3, there is a Long Internship of 4-6 months duration. This internship will be in a design agency either abroad or in India where students get the opportunity to apply the skills, acquired in the course, in a completely professional atmosphere.
  • Lab 4 is the last semester and it is all about Design & Brands in the Market where students get to know about Visual identity, Brand strategy, Packaging, Editorial Design, Digital Design, UI/UX, Storytelling, Master class, etc. In this semester students get the scope to build their start-ups in the incubator The Kettle.

Bachelor in Game Art and Design

The curriculum of this 3 year Bachelor's Degree program is designed in association with Ubisoft, India and accredited by AICTE. This 3-year program has 3 modules Lab 1, Lab 2 and Lab 3 along with two internships. After completion, there is an option for a 4th Year Degree in the UK via a student exchange program at Abertay University in Scotland where students can earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in BA (Hons) Computer Arts or BA (Hons) Game Design and Production.

  • Lab 1 focuses on Foundation Studies where students learn Non-Digital gaming, Analytical drawing, Live model sketching, Exterior drawing, Colour, Creativity, Illustration, Volume, Photography, Perspective, Personal project, Human Sciences, History of art, etc.
  • Lab 2 is dedicated to Gameplay & Concepts where students learn about Global Culture, Gaming Culture, Game design & level design, 2D computer graphics, 3D Computer graphics, Character design, Introduction to Concept art, Environment design, Storytelling, Prototyping, Real-time 2D-3D, Specialisation, etc.
  • After Lab 2 there is a Short Internship of 3 months duration where students are exposed to various processes in a game production studio.
  • Lab 3 is all about Professional Game Design where students are acquainted with Advanced 3D, Procedural generation, Preproduction, Production project management, Mediums & technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Storyboarding, Rigging/ animation, UI UX, Art direction, etc.
  • After Lab 3 there is a Long Internship of 6 months duration where students are given specific roles in the process of game development.

Bachelor in Fine Arts

This 4 years Bachelor's degree program is accredited by AICTE and has 4 modules Lab 1, Lab 2, Lab 3, and Lab 4. Two internships are also there in between.

  • Lab 1 focuses on Creative Foundations where students learn Analytical drawing, Live model sketching, Outdoor sketching, Colour, Sketching, Creativity, Illustration, Visual Communication, Volume, Photography, Perspective, Human Sciences, History of art, etc.
  • Lab 2 is all about Art in Context which focuses on History of Art I & II, Culture & identity, Affecting change through art, Theory & critique, Societies & politics, Expository writing, Art in India, The artist's journal, Interdisciplinary arts, Sculpture, Landscapes, Charcoal & Ink, Illustration, Portrait & Painting, etc.
  • After Lab 2, there is an Art Internship of 4-6 months duration at an art gallery or museum where students are exposed to professional careers.
  • Lab 3 is about Art as Expression where students are acquainted with Critical Studies - Advanced analysis, Semiotics & visual communication, Artists & their causes, Media specialisations to explore, Conveying your message in words, Symbolism & visual messaging, Creating a concept, etc.
  • There is a Studio Apprenticeship of 4-6 months duration after Lab 3 where students get a chance to work with any artist they choose from around the world. The student needs to assist the artist in various ways of art like art production, networking, planning etc.
  • The focus of Lab 4 is on You as an Artist where you will be able to learn Positioning strategy, Pricing & selling art, Creating a personal brand, Your artistic voice, Digital platforms, Entrepreneurship in fine arts, Exhibition design, Collaboration and production in Creative industries, An artist's website, Artistic discourse, Talking to museums & galleries, Ethics in art, Art Law-intellectual property, etc.

Masters in Advertising, Design & Digital Communication

This 18-month postgraduate program is accredited by AICTE and helps students gain a strong knowledge in Advertising, Design, various Communication Strategies in the digital medium, etc. The program is offered in 3 semesters and after the completion of 3 semesters, there is an industry internship.

  • Semester 1 focuses on Foundation Studies where students learn Creativity, Graphic Design, Editorial Design, Computer Graphics, Branding, Visual Expression, Marketing, Social Media, Web Design, Creative Writing, etc.
  • Semester 2 is all about Concepts, Communication & Design where the focus is on Graphic design, Editorial design, Computer graphics, Brand design, Digital marketing, Social media, Copywriting, UX Design, Art Direction, Motion design, etc.
  • In Semester 3 students are acquainted with Design & Brands in the market where they learn Digital Graphic Design, Visual Identity, UI Design, Digital Marketing, Digital Art Direction, Advertising, Advanced Motion Design, Entrepreneurship, etc.
  • After completion of the semesters, there is an Industry Internship of 3-6 months where students gain professional experience in some design or advertising agencies.


  • Students having a passion for creativity and design can apply for the undergraduate programs after finishing Class 12.
  • To apply for the postgraduate program a student has to complete graduation in any discipline.
  • Students will be admitted after completing a creative intelligence test, personal interview and portfolio evaluation.

Admission Procedure

Students need to fill up the online application by uploading all the necessary documents like educational certificates/mark sheets, address proof, etc. After that, they need to pay the application fee and register for the Creative Aptitude Test. After successfully clearing the test there will be a personal interview round.
