Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS), Formerly known as Manav Rachna International University, is a private university. PhD Programme Fee Details
The PhD programme fee for full-time students are as follows:
Important Note:The faculty and staff of MREI will have to pay a one-time registration fee (as applicable). They will be exempted from the coursework fees and research fees. They will have to serve the university at least for 3 years after completion of Ph.D. However, they will have to pay a one-time thesis evaluation fee (as applicable). They will also need to sign a surety bond before joining the Ph.D. program.
Scholarship
Meritorious research scholars will receive a Research Assistantship of Rs.18000 to 24000 per month.Eligibility Criteria for PhD Programmes
The candidates, who wish to join the Ph.D. program at Manav Rachana University, must have a Master's degree or a professional degree equivalent to a Master's degree from UGC recognized university or from a foreign educational institution. They must have scored at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade accredited by an approved Assessment and Accreditation Agency.
Those who have an MPhil degree with at least 55% mark or equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale. Degree must be recognised from UGC or in the case of a degree from a Foreign Educational Institution must be accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency.
It must be noted that the admission to the Ph.D. program would strictly be done based on UGC MPhil/Ph.D. Regulations 2016 and subsequent amendments dated 27th August and 16th October 2018. Relaxation of marks to MPhil students in minimum eligibility shall be given as per UGC Regulation, 2016.
How to Apply
The candidates who wish to join the PhD programme must visit the official website of Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS) and register themselves. For registration, candidates need to provide their name, email address, mobile number, state, city, program, and specialization. After registration, the application form can be filled online by login in using login credentials. Those who are already registered on the online portal can log in using their login credentials. Candidates must note that asterisk (*) marked fields are mandatory.Application Fee Payment
To complete the application procedure, the candidates need to make the payment of the application processing fee (non-refundable). Payment has to be made online only through net banking or debit card or credit card. Application form fee is Rs.1200/- and transaction /service charges are Rs.72/-.
Admission Procedure
There will be an entrance exam and interview for admission to the Ph.D. program. Merit will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the entrance test and performance in the interview. There will be a total of 100 marks. The written test will be of 70 marks (90 minutes' duration) and will comprise of two sections:
The written test will be followed by a personal interview of 30 marks. The candidates who have qualified UGC- NET (including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/ SLET/ GATE or any other national level exam or an MPhil degree need not appear in the written test. However, these candidates will have to appear in the Personal Interview.Important Dates
