Language Pandit Training program admissions through APLPCET 2021

About program

The AP LPCET stands for Andhra Pradesh Language Pandit Common Entrance Test. It is organized by the official authorities that are the Department of School Education, Govt of AP. It is a state-level exam that is conducted every year. This course is beneficial for a teaching job in a school. Those candidates who have a good command of language can give training in a private institute. Candidates who wish to take admission into one year Language Pandit Training Course (LPT) in Government IASEs/CTEs and Private Language Pandit Training Colleges in the state by Dept. of School Education, Govt of A.P have to appear for AP LPCET 2021 exam.

Eligibility Criteria

Indian Nationality or Indian citizens can apply only.

The candidates will have to satisfy Local/Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of admission) Order 1974 as subsequently amended.

The candidates should have completed 19 years as of 1st July 2020. There is no upper age limit.

Educational Qualifications:

For Telugu Pandit, the candidate should have BA (Telugu Literature) or BA (Oriental Language – Telugu) or Bachelor of Oriental Language Telugu or A Graduate degree with optional subject Telugu or MA (Telugu).

For Hindi Pandit: The candidate should have a grade-degree with optional subject Hindi or Bachelor of Oriental Language Hindi or Praveen of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha or Vidwan of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad or any other equivalent recognized qualification in Hindi (BA Standard) by the Government of Andhra Pradesh or MA (Hindi).

For Urdu Pandit: The candidate should have BA (Urdu Literature) or BA (Oriental Language – Urdu) or Bachelor of Oriental Language Urdu or A Graduate degree with optional subject Urdu or MA (Urdu).

How to apply

The candidates who wish to join the LPT course at the department of school education must visit the official website of authority and read the instructions given in the official advertisement carefully before applying. The applicants must register online for admission in the LPT program and fill the online application form. For registration purposes, the candidate will have to provide the basic details such as Name, Mobile No., Email ID and current city, etc. Then candidates have to click on "Fields marked with '*' are compulsory". Then proceed with the application form fee payment. After fee payment, The application form will be opened. Enter the details as asked in the application form. Then upload the scanned images of the necessary documents. In the end, submit the application form. Take the printout of the application form and keep it for future reference.

The AP LPCET application fee is Rs. 600/-. Candidates have to pay the application fee through Online Payment Gateway. The application fee once paid would not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates can pay the fee through payment Gateway between Aug 18 to Sep 16 2021and can submit online applications at the LPCET-2021 website http://lpcet.apcfss.in or https://cse.ap.gov.in/DSENEW/ from Aug 18 to Sep 17 2021.

Selection procedure

Selection will be done based on an entrance examination. The entrance exam is conducted for admission in Language Pandit Training (LPT) course. Candidates must have a valid rank in the entrance test to be eligible for admission. The mode of the APLPCET exam is online.
