The Department of Technical Education, Govt. of Rajasthan has released the notification for admission to the first year of B.E./B.Tech. and B.Arch. courses for the academic session 2021-22 through the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP-2021). This is a centralized admission procedure for admission to the afore-mentioned courses for candidates of the State of Rajasthan. 15% quota of the total AICTE-approved intake is for candidates outside the State.
Eligibility requirements for REAP-2021
Age criteria: There is no age limit for admission to the B.E./B.Tech. or B. Arch. courses.
Medical fitness: You will be required to submit a Medical Fitness certificate on the prescribed form at the time of reporting in the allotted institution. This must be certified by a Medical Officer of the Govt. of Rajasthan. Refer to the official instructions booklet to know the medical fitness standards in terms of height, weight, vision, hearing, etc.
Domicile criteria: The domicile status of Rajasthan will be ascertained as per the domicile certificate issued by the competent Govt. authority.
Educational Qualification:
For B.E./B.Tech. course: You should have passed the Class 10+2 (12th) exam of the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (RBSE) or of the CBSE Board or any other exam recognized and equivalent thereto by RSBE/CBSE.
In this qualifying exam, you should have passed with Physics and/or Mathematics/Chemistry/Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/Biology/Informatics Practices/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies/Entrepreneurship (any of the three).
You should have scored a minimum of 45% marks in the exam (40% marks for candidates in the reserved category of SC/ST/Non-creamy layer OBC/Non-creamy layer MBC and PwD category of Rajasthan State) in these subjects taken together.
Also accepted - you should have passed a minimum three-year Diploma exam in Engineering & Technology with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories as mentioned), but this is only subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

For B.Arch. course: You should have passed an exam at the end of the 10+2 scheme with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects or passed a 10+3 Diploma exam with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
Additional requirements are- (i) You need to qualify for an Aptitude Test in Architecture conducted by the council; (ii) The weightage of 50% marks for aptitude tests and 50% marks in the qualifying exam as per norms will be given for admission to the first year of the B.Arch. course.

There are five steps to apply for REAP-2021. First, register for admission to B.E. or B.Tech. courses and at for admission to B.Arch. courses. Pay the registration fee for Rs.250/- through Net banking/ATM card/Debit Card/Credit Card/Billdesk. Do not forget to note down the transaction number of the payment done.
Next, fill in the application form correctly and completely. The third step is to upload all the required documents. The fourth step is to select your choice of college and lock it. The fifth and final step is to take a printout of the submitted application for your reference and for the later admission process at the institute where you are allotted admission. Do not send a printout of the application to the REAP office.
The following documents must be uploaded at the time of application and you must get all the original documents checked and verified and submit these to the institute at the time of final admission.
Note- You have to select the choice of college only after successful completion of the application form, and you are allowed to fill in as many choices available to you as you wish.
