How to Apply
The candidates who are interested to join the Ph.D. program at the central university of Jharkhand must visit the CUJ official website of central university of Jharkhand, Ranchi and read the instructions carefully before applying. First, the candidate needs to submit the application fee. For this, they must register through the registration portal. After registration, all the applicants must fill the online application available on the online portal of the university. All the required details must be filled in the application form carefully and the complete application must be submitted along with the required documents. The candidate should provide all the required details and upload a clear latest photograph and scanned signature. After submission of the application form, the candidates must take a printout of the computer-generated application form and keep it for further submission at the time of the interview.Application Fee
The candidates will have to pay an application fee and submit it through SBI Collect. Students must use the link for payment provided on the online portal. An application that will be submitted without an application fee, will be summarily rejected. The details of the application fee are given below:
For GEN/EWS/OBC Candidate: Rs 800/-
For SC/ST/Candidate: Rs 400/-
For PWD candidate: Rs 200/-

Selection to Ph.D. programs will be done based on their performance in the written test conducted by the university. The written test will be conducted through online mode only. The date and time of the written test will be shared with the candidates separately. The candidates who will qualify written test will be called for an interview. Only a limited number of candidates will be called for written tests or interviews based on their academic records and other documents submitted with the application such as a statement of purpose etc. In the final selection, a limited number of candidates will be called for a written test or interview, based on their performance in GATE or NET exam, grades/marks in the qualifying examination, etc. Important Dates
