University of Mumbai LL.M.CET 2021 online applications open

The Department of Law, University of Mumbai has issued the schedule for the LL.M. Common Entrance Exam (LLM. CET-2021) for students seeking admission to the 2-year LL.M. program for the academic year 2021-2022.

Admission for the course will be on the basis of the merit list through LLM. CET-2021. Seats for the reserved categories are as per the norms of the University and the State Govt. norms. The test results will be valid for admission to LL.M. only for the academic year 2021-22. LLM. CET-2021 Eligibility requirements
You should have passed LL.B. Those who have appeared for the final semester exams of a 3-year of 5-year LL.B. program from the University of Mumbai or from any other recognized University can also apply for LLM. CET-2021. However, if you are currently already pursuing an LL.M., then you will be required to cancel the earlier LL.M. admission before taking admission to the new LL.M. program.
In the qualifying degree exam, you should have scored minimum qualifying marks of 40 if you are applying in the General category, and 30 if you are applying in a reserved category.
Entrance exam fee
To appear for LLM. CET-2021, you have to pay the fee of Rs.650/- (for reserved category candidates the fee is Rs.350/-). This is non-refundable and has to be paid online only. LLM. CET-2021 Application Procedure
Applications should be made online only at the LLM. CET-2021 registration-cum-application portal . You are advised to first read the guidelines that are provided on that page, before applying. Ensure that you fill-up the application form correctly and completely, as incomplete forms will be rejected.
LLM. CET-2021 Format
The entrance test will be conducted in online mode only. The test is of 100 marks and will have 50 objective-type MCQs (multiple choice questions). The exam is of one-hour duration, with a flexible schedule between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Differently-abled candidates (Divyang) will be given an extra 20 minutes. The paper is in English or Marathi.

You can appear for the online LLM. CET-2021 test using an Android smartphone or a desktop or a laptop, but the Test is accessible only via Google Chrome browser. Ensure that your internet connectivity is stable and there are no technical disruptions. The video camera must be on throughout, and activities will be monitored through online proctoring by invigilators and via video.
What to do after the result
Since the test is an online MCQ, the evaluation is automated. Hence, you cannot apply for revaluation. On getting the result, you have to approach the law college for admission. There will be no centralized admission process for the LL.M. courses.
