Jamnabai Narsee International School (JNIS), Mumbai has announced admissions open for IB PYP Grade 1 and Cambridge Checkpoint Grade 8 for the academic year 2022-23. Admission to Grades 2 to 7 will depend entirely on the availability of seats.

Established in 2015 by the Narsee Monjee Educational Trust, JNIS is an authorized co-educational IB World School that provides education based on the IB curriculum. Accordingly, the school offers the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP) . This is alongside the Cambridge IGCSE programme. Extracurricular activities at JNIS include Scouts and Guides, debates and elocution, calligraphy and creative art, etc.
The JNIS school campus has very good infrastructure, with Wi-Fi enabled classrooms, a spacious library, music and dance studios, science and computer labs, an auditorium and amphitheatre, a cafeteria, etc. Sports facilities are in plenty, for cricket, swimming, football, badminton, basketball, etc. A career guidance centre provides mentoring sessions for students studying the IB curriculum. There is also a resource centre providing guidance for students with special needs.Application procedure
Parents have to fill up the online registration form at https://jnis.openapply.com/apply which can also be accessed from the home page of the Jamnabai Narsee International School official website. When filling up the registration form, you need to enter the name of the student exactly as it appears on the last school Transfer Certificate. It is advisable to read the guidelines for existing applicants and for new applicants before starting the registration procedure for admissions.
Since JNIS is, as of now, only accepting applications for PYP-Grade 1 and for Cambridge IGCSE-Grade 8, if you wish to seek admission to any other Grade (PYP Grade 2 to 5 or MYP Grade 6 to 10), you can select 'Other' from the options for 'Grade Applied'. In such a case, you will then be intimated if there is a seat available for the particular Grade that you opted for.
