University of Mumbai IDOL distance learning UG, PG courses online admissions July 2021 session
Eager to pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate distance education program from a reputed university in India? This article provides a list of the UG and PG distance learning courses with study materials offered by the Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL), University of Mumbai.
The Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL), University of Mumbai has announced admissions open to UG and PG courses for the academic session 2021-22, July session. Students of SC/ST/OBC/VJ-NT/SBC categories can avail themselves of Government scholarships for most of the programs.

At the outset, it should be noted that if you are a student to S.Y.B.A., T.Y.B.A., or S.Y.B.Com. or T.Y.B.Com. from an affiliated college of the University of Mumbai who appeared and failed in the first half of the 2021 summer exam and later passed in the Supplementary exam in the same year (that is, in 2021), then you are not eligible to take admission to any further class for this academic year.

Admissions to the B.Com. Accounting & Finance, M.Sc. Mathematics, and M.Sc. Computer Science will begin only after getting approval from UGC-DEB (Distance Education Bureau).
Acceptance of online forms for MMS and MBA approved by AICTE & UGC with an intake 720 seats will be announced at a later date.
Acceptance of online forms for MCA (2-year course) approved by AICTE & UGC with an intake of 2000 seats will be announced at a later date.

Applications for admissions should be done by first registering at the Mumbai University Institute of Distance and Open Learning official website or at the earlier portal.
Ensure that you register with a valid email ID and contact mobile number, and provide correct details of your address, as these will be required for further communications. Those who are IDOL students of the academic year 2020-21 whose PNR No. is generated can use the same PNR no. for this admission process. The fees have to be paid online by using a Debit Card or a Credit Card or via Internet Banking (check the fee for each course at the official website).

Note- you may be required to provide documents of age proof, residential proof, no objection certificate from the last attended college, etc as applicable so check the individual prospectus of each Faculty before applying.

For offline assistance-
Students can take counseling/guidance between 10.20 am to 6 p.m. on working days at IDOL Regional Centres. Currently, there are IDOL Regional Centers and Study Material Collection Centers at Churchgate, Thane, Kalyan, and Ratnagiri, and centers will be set up soon at Sawantwadi in Sindhudurg, and at Palghar.
