  1. LIC Golden Jubilee Scheme

    Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has announced the Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme for the academic year 2021-'22. This scheme provides economic support to financially backward students for higher studies for gifted students.

    Details of the Scheme

    • Eligibility CriteriaStudents must pass with at least 60% marks in the academic year 2020-'21 in Intermediate/equivalent examination. The annual income of the parents should not cross the 2 lakh limit for obtaining this scholarship. Scholarships are awarded to students pursuing Medicine/Engineering/Vocational courses in ITIs, any graduation/integrated courses/diploma in any field/ equivalent courses.

    • Students who passed 10th class or equivalent exam with 60% marks can avail of this scheme for studying Intermediate/ ITI vocational courses in higher education in government institutes.

    • Girls who are passed with 60% marks in 2021-'21 academic year in 10th class/equivalent are eligible to avail of this offer for studying Intermediate course. The annual income of the parents should not cross the limit 2 lakhs limit.

    • Duration of the scholarship:-
    • Regular scholarship will be offered till the end of the course two years.
    • Amount of scholarship is Rs.20,000 per annum disbursed in three installments. For girls, Rs.10,000 per annum is disbursed in 3 installments.

    • The selection procedure is based 10/ 10+2 merit marks and on the annual income of parents.

  2. KSB Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme

    This scheme belongs to The Central Military Board (KSB) of the Ministry of Defense, Government of India. This scholarship scheme is announced for the academic year 2021-'22 provided for guardians of ex-servicemen/ widows/students of ex-Indian Coast Guards/to pursue professional/technical Degree courses.

    • Details of Scholarship scheme

    • The total scholarship schemes is 5,500 (2,750 for boys and 2750 for girls).
    • Eligibility Criteria:- Students who are entering the first year of professional/Degree courses are eligible for this scheme. Students who are offering Integrated courses/lateral entry are not eligible for this scheme.

    • Selection Procedure
    • The selection of candidates is based on the order of merit marks of students and order of priority list as given in the notification.
    • The total scholarship per annum boys is Rs.30,000 and Rs.36,000 for girls.

  3. Scholarships for disabled students

    The Ministry of Social justice and Empowerment of the Government of India invites applications from eligible candidates for the various scholarships for the academic year 2021-2022.

    • Scholarship schemes

      Pre-Metric Scholarships, Post-Metric scholarships, Higher class education scholarships.

    • Eligibility criteria
    • Candidates with 40% disability are eligible for these schemes. Candidates to obtain the necessary disability certificate issued by concerned Medical authority.
    • The annual income of the parents should not exceed 2.5 lakhs for pre-metric and post-Metric scholarships, 6 lakhs for higher education scholarships.

    • This scholarship will be granted to any two disabled members of the same family. This scholarship will be granted once annually for students of any class studying.

  4. AICTE PG Scholarships

    AICTE invited online applications for students studying AICTE approved institutions/Courses for the academic year 2021-'22.

    • Details of the scholarship scheme

      This scholarship is meant for PG studying students and this scholarship is sponsored by AICTE. The amount of scholarship for the month is Rs.12,400.

    • Eligibility criteria

      Students for applying for this scheme must have valid GATE, GPAT, CEED score at the time of admission. They must be admitted as full-time scholars. Students have to be admitted to AICTE approved institutions and programs like Master of Engineering, Master of Technology, Master of Architecture, Master of Design, and Master of Pharmacy.

      The last date for the creation of student IDs and submission of forms by the students is 31/12/2021. The last date for verification of application by the institute is 15/01/2022.
