Online applications open for MBA Admissions 2022-24 at nine IITs
Looking for the admission schedule for IIT MBA programs in India? This article provides complete information on the admission procedure for MBA programs at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) in India. Details of the eligibility requirements and where to apply for each have been provided.
The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) have jointly issued the admission notification for the two-year full-time MBA programs at their respective institutes for the academic year 2022-24. For admission to the MBA program at all the IITs, it is necessary to have a valid score in the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2021 in addition to the other specific eligibility criteria. Those who are studying in their final year of the qualifying exam can apply as well and seek provisional admission, submitting the relevant documents as supporting proof of the qualifying degree by the date as scheduled by the IIT. There is a relaxation of 5% for the qualifying marks for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.

The closing date for application for admission to the MBA programs of all the IITs is 31st January 2021 (note that the IIT Jodhpur portal mentions the closing date as 28th February 2022).
MBA at SJMSOM IIT-Bombay
The Shailesh J Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM) is offering a general management program, and students have the option to select electives of the institute or of other Departments of IIT-B. On successful completion of the program, you will be awarded the Degree of Master of Business Administration of Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. There are 152 seats, including for EWS candidates, with no seats reserved for sponsored candidates. Know more about the program from last year's notification .
Basic eligibility criteria: A Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree with at least 60% marks or CA, CS, CFA, ICWA, or FRM, with a first-class Bachelor's degree in any discipline having secured 60% marks. In the case of international candidates, they must also have a valid GMAT score of at least 600, and those not holding an Indian passport should have cleared TOEFL or IELTS.

The Department of Management Studies (DoMS), IIT Madras is offering the MBA program in a total of seven quarters, with approximately eight weeks in each quarter. Basic eligibility criteria: Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline from a recognized/reputed University with a min. of 60% marks in the qualifying degree exam. Sponsored candidates should have at least two years of work experience in the sponsoring organization. However, work experience for others is not mandatory, and a foreign national with a valid GMAT score can also apply.

The Department of Management Studies of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi offers two management programs; one is a general MBA, and the other an MBA in Telecommunication Systems Management.
Basic eligibility criteria: A Bachelor's degree with minimum 60% marks. For the Tech-MBA, you should have a Bachelor's degree in any branch of Engineering, Computers Applications, Economics, Operations Research, (Maths, and Statistics or similar. The Department of Industrial and Management Engineering (IME) at IIT Kanpur offers an optional one-month internship in the month of December in addition to the mandatory summer internship at the end of the first year for two months from May-July.
Basic eligibility criteria: A minimum of 65% and above in both, the Class 10, and the Class 12 exams. At the Graduate level, you should have a B.Tech. or B.E. or B.Arch..
