Early childhood care and education is given much importance in recent years. These are the years that develop the child socially and mentally. Eligibility for the Diploma Programme

The Diploma in ECCE is open to everybody with the following eligibilities:
  • The person should be 18 years of age or above
  • He/ She should have completed the 10+2 from any recognized board
  • He/ She should have the minimum marks in 10+2 as set by the different colleges

Mode of admission

Most of the institutes in the country take their students for the Diploma programme on the basis of their 10+2 marks on the first come first serve basis. However, few may also conduct their own entrance exams and interviews and then select their students on a merit basis.

Duration and Fees

The minimum duration of the course is 1 year. However, the same could also be for two years in some institutes.
The fees for the Diploma Programme may vary from Rs. 3000 to Rs.1,00,000 depending on the academic infrastructure and other facilities being provided by the college/university.
