Uni-GAUGE UGET 2022 All-India Entrance Exam for admissions to Engineering Universities

An All-India Entrance Exam for admission to undergraduate B.E. and B.Tech. programs that start in the academic year 2022 will be held in June for admission to over 50 Engineering Universities across India. Known as the Uni-Gauge Undergraduate Entrance Test (Uni-Gauge UGET) the score of this exam will be accepted for admission to Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Technology programs at all the Uni-GAUGE participating member Universities/Institutions.
Partner Universities are located in the States of Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh.
Eligibility requirements for Uni-GAUGE UGET
Academic Qualifications
You should have passed a second Pre-University Course (PUC) or 10+2 or Higher Secondary or an equivalent exam. The qualifying exam passed should be one that is recognized by the Central Govt. or a State Govt. In the last two years of study, you should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Math as a compulsory subjects.
Instead of Chemistry, Biology, or Biotechnology for B.E./B.Tech. and Biotechnology is also acceptable.
Also acceptable is any other technical vocational course as one of the optional subjects, with English as a compulsory subject. If you have passed a Diploma course, too, you are eligible to seek admission to an engineering stream through Uni-Gauge UGET.Academic Scores
As a General Merit candidate, you should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually as well. (40% is the minimum if applying in the category of SC, ST, and OBC). It is reiterated here that Physics and Maths are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any other technical vocational course as one of the optional subjects.
Note that if you are appearing for any of the afore-mentioned accepted qualifying exams in the current academic year, you can appear for Uni-Gauge UGET 2022. The criteria of age, the number of attempts, reservations, if any, and other eligibility requirements should be checked out at the website of the participating university/institution.
Uni-GAUGE UGET Exam Format
Uni-Gauge is an online Computer-Based Test (CBT) in English only, with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (60 questions for each subject). Each correct answer will be awarded one mark, and there will be no negative marking for wrong answers. The total marks will be 180.How to apply for Uni-GAUGE UGET
You have to register online for appearing in the Uni-Gauge UGET at the official Uni-GAUGE UGET portal with a valid email ID and phone number. The application form should also be filled up in online mode only, and cannot be submitted in offline mode. Printed copies sent by post will also not be accepted.
Ensure that you go through the information bulletin and guidelines provided therein before applying so that you do not miss out on providing the required details and uploading the required documents. You should select three cities as the exam center in order of preference from the available list of Test cities.
You must also pay the registration fee of Rs. 1,600/- in online mode (there will also be convenience fee/charges as applicable), either with a credit card or a debit card or through Net banking.

Before making the final submission of the application, you should ensure that you have filled in all the details correctly by using the 'Preview' button, and making the corrections wherever required.Important dates

The last date to apply online and for online payment is 2nd May 2022.
You can edit details in select fields from 13th May to 16th May 2022.
You can download of online Test Admission Ticket on the website from 6th June to 18th June 2022.
Uni-Gauge UGET 2022 Exam date and time: 19th June 2022. The morning session will be from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and the afternoon session will be from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
The provisional Answer Key will be displayed on the portal on 22nd June 2022.

The Final Answer Key will be published on the portal on 30th June 2022.
The Uni-Gauge UGET 2022 Test Score Cards will be available on 5th July 2022.

Once the test result is released, you can download your Uni-GAUGE Test Scorecard from the same portal - https://www.unigauge.com/.
Next, you need to check and confirm that you fulfil all the eligibility requirements as stated on the website of the participating university for the course that you are keen to join. The list of participating universities and the links to them are available on the Uni-Gauge portal.
Once you are sure that you do fulfil all the eligibility requirements, you need to apply separately to the participating university along with the Uni-GAUGE Test scorecard and the prescribed documents that are required by the participating university (the list of documents will be displayed on the university website).
The participating university will then verify the Test scorecard that you have submitted, and prepare a merit list of the eligible applicants, followed by the admission process. You need to check the participating university's website for updates on this admission process.
