AIIMS, Jodhpur

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur is a medical institute and medical research public university located in the second largest city of Rajasthan, Jodhpur. It is an Institute of National Importance. It was established in 2012 and operates autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare like the other 5 AIIMS. AIIMS Jodhpur is also governed under AIIMS Act, 1956.

AIIMS, Jodhpur imparts both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education in all branches of medical science and related fields and also nursing, and paramedical training. It offers various courses like Ph.D., PG Courses, DM, M.Ch., Post basic diploma programs, IIT - AIIMS Joint program, etc.

Admissions 2022

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur has announced admissions into Post-Doctoral DM a 3 year course for the session of July 2022 in
  • Infectious Diseases (Total No. of seats: 2)
  • Interventional Radiology (Total No. of seats: 2)




Eligibility criteria

Candidates have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria for admission to the DM Course in AIIMS, Jodhpur:

DM - Infectious Diseases
  • A candidate must possess a degree in MD/DNB in Microbiology or MD/DNB in Medicine/Pediatrics/Tropical Medicine from a University recognized by MCI/NMC.
  • The candidates must have completed the requisite qualification/ degree by 31st July 2022.
  • The Upper Age limit is 35 years as of 1st July 2022. ( maximum of 3 years relaxable for OBC, 5 years for SC/ ST/ Ex-serviceman and commissioned office/ persons with benchmark disabilities)


DM - Interventional Radiology
  • A candidate must possess a degree in M.D./ D.N.B. (Radiology/Radio-diagnosis) from a University recognized by MCI/NMC.
  • The candidates must have completed the requisite qualification/ degree by 31st July 2022.
  • The Upper Age limit is 35 years as of 1st July 2022. ( maximum of 3 years relaxable for OBC, 5 for SC/ ST/ Ex-serviceman and commissioned office/ persons with benchmark disabilities)

Selection procedure

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written test (80 marks) and departmental assessment (20 marks). The entrance exam will be conducted by AIIMS Jodhpur through online mode on 26th June 2022 from 9 am to 10:30 am at AIIMS, Jodhpur. The question paper will consist of 80 Multiple Choice Questions. Each correct answer will get a score of 1 mark and an incorrect answer will get a score of -1/3. Candidates who scored 50% of marks on the written test will be called for a departmental assessment.

Application Process


Interested and eligible candidates are requested to apply online at official website. Candidates have to deposit the application fee of Rs.1500 for General/OBC and Rs.1200/- for SC/ST/EWS (PWBD Candidates are exempted from any Fee) through debit/credit card/Net Banking. The last date for submitting online applications is 31st May 2022.
