The JEE Main 2022 Application Form for Phase 2 will be released soon on the official website of NTA, jeemain.nta.ac.in,n. Students who passed class 12 in 2021, 2020, or are appearing in 2022 are eligible to enroll for JEE Main 2022, as per JEE Main 2022 Eligibility. To complete the registration procedure, candidates will have to register, provide scanned documents, and pay the application fees. Male applicants must pay INR 650 for General/Gen-EWS/OBC (NCL) JEE application fees, while female candidates need to pay INR 325. The Joint Entrance Examination (Main), often known as JEE Main 2022, is an undergraduate entrance exam which is conducted for B.Tech admissions to 31 NITs, 25 IIITs, and 19 GFTIs. JEE Main is also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced admission to IITs.
JEE Main Paper 1 is for admission to B.E./B.Tech programmes, whereas JEE Main Paper 2A (B.Arch) and JEE Main Paper 2B (B.Planning) are for admission to B.Arch and B.Planning programmes, respectively (B.Planning). Last year, a total of 1,048,012 applicants applied for JEE Main, with 939,008 of them taking the test. Males made up 728,745 of the total registered candidates, while females made up 319,262. A total of 44 JEE Main 2021 students received a perfect score of 100.
JEE Main 2022 Latest Update
The latest changes and updates in the JEE Main 2022 exam are given below
1. JEE Main 2022 will be held online as a computer-based test with themes based on NCERT books for classes 11 and 12.
2. This year's marking scheme has been updated. Each incorrect numerical type question will have a one-point deduction.
3. This year, the JEE Main 2022 will be held twice, in June and July.
4. The All India Rank for B.Tech/B.Arch admissions in India are determined by JEE Main results.
5. There is no minimum JEE score or cut-off for admission to NITs or IIITs, however, students must achieve a qualifying percentage to be considered for JEE Advanced and B.Tech admission to IITs.JEE Main 2022 Exam Dates
JEE Main 2022 Application Form
The registration process of JEE Main 2022 is divided into 2 sessions: Session 1 and Session 2. Students can register in the online mode. Registration for the first session began on March 1, 2022. The second session of JEE Main registration is likely to begin soon. The deadline to apply and submit fees for the second session is June 2022. Candidates must ensure that they are eligible before applying for the exam by reviewing the complete eligibility requirements.
All information submitted during registration must be accurate and legitimate; otherwise, the application form of JEE Main may be rejected. JEE Main 2022 Application Process
Given steps can be followed by candidates to complete the registration/application process of the JEE Main 2022:
Step 1- Go to the official website
Step 2- Select "JEE Main 2022 Registration" from the drop-down menu
Step 3- To finish the registration, fill in the essential information and click the "Submit" button.
After completing the JEE Main registration procedure, aspirants will receive an email and a text message with the application form number and password in their registered email ID and mobile phone number. Candidates should maintain their registration information safe and secure.
Step 4- Candidates will be forwarded to the website where they may fill out the comprehensive application form after completing the registration process. Candidates should supply information about their educational qualifications, parents' information, communication and permanent addresses, and exam center preferences at this phase
Step 5- Upload scanned passport images
Step 6- Pay the JEE Main 2022 application fee
Step 7- Following the successful payment of application fees, the application form will be immediately submitted
Candidates must download and print out the completed application form. Candidates should keep the print copy of the application form secure until the admissions process is completed.JEE Main 2022 Admit Card
Candidates can download their JEE Main admit card after completion of registration process. By entering their login information, registered candidates will be able to download their admit cards. It is a vital document that contains information about the candidates as well as the exam. The JEE main admit card release date will be announced tentatively in the second week of June 2022.
