About CITD
Central Institute of Tool Design (CITD) is India's ISO-certified premier technical training institution. It was established in the year 1968. It provides specialized training courses in Tool Design & Manufacturing, CAM, CAD, CAE, VLSI, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, and Robotics at various levels such as Certificate, Diploma, Post Diploma, Post Graduate, M.E., and M.Tech.
Central Institute of Tool Design (CITD), Hyderabad has announced admissions into the following Diploma courses-
Diploma in Tool, Die & Mould Making (DTDM), and Diploma in Production Engineering (DPE) are approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and recognized by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Government of Telangana as equivalent to a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME). Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering (DECE), and Diploma in Automation & Robotics Engineering (DARE) are approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and recognized by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Government of Telangana as equivalent to Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering (DECE).
Note:
Batch strength is 60 for each course. Reservation exists as per Govt. of India Rules for SC, ST, and PWD.

The minimum eligibility criteria required for admission to the DTDM course at the Central Institute of Tool Design (CITD), Hyderabad is as follows:

Selection of candidates for admission will be done based on their performance in the entrance examination conducted by CITD, Hyderabad. The duration of this exam is 90 minutes and it consists of Multiple Choice Questions. The syllabus for the entrance exam - Mathematics, Science, English, Aptitude, and General Knowledge of 10th Standard.
The tentative date of the entrance examination is 26th June 2022. After the examination, the merit list of the candidates will be displayed on the institute's website and on the notice board of the institute. As per the list, interested candidates can attend counseling along with the below-mentioned documents and prescribed fees, etc. The date of counseling will be intimated to the qualifying candidates by SMS or email and notification through the institute's website.

Interested and eligible candidates are requested to apply online at the official website or can download the application form and send the filled-in application form along with attachments to the below address. The application should be superscribed as "Application for Diploma Admissions – 2022". The application cost is Rs. 700/- for general category and Rs. 350/- for SC/ ST category. The closing date of the application is 20th June 2022 by 1 pm.
