IIM Indore

Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) was established in the year 1996. IIM Indore is the sixth among the family of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), promoted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. IIM Indore is an institute of national importance under the Indian Institutes of Management Act, 2017. IIM Indore was ranked 7th among management schools in India in 2020 by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). It offers various post-graduate programs, integrated programs, fellow programs, and executive fellow programs.

IIT Indore

Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore) was established in the year 2009. It is located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh in India. IIT Indore is recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India. IIT Indore is one of the eight Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. IIT Indore offers various undergraduate and post-graduate programs under various departments.

Admissions 2022

Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) and Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore) have jointly announced admissions into a two-year online degree program - Master of Science in Data Science and Management. This program consists of 14-15 hours per week of live lectures and 30 days of on-campus classes.

Lecture timinings (Tentative):

Weekdays: 7:00 tp 8:00 pm and 8:15 to 9:15pm
Saturdays: 10:45 am to 11:45 am, 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm, 2:45 pm to 3:45 pm and 4:00pm to 5:00pm

Eligibility criteria

Candidates have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to get admission to the Master of Science in Data Science and Management program at the Indian Institute of Technology Indore and Indian Institute of Management Indore:

Candidates who have secured 60% marks in B.Tech/ BE/ BS/ B.Pharm/ B.Arch/ B.Des/ B.F.Tech/ 4 years B.Sc./ M.Sc./ MCA/ MBA OR equivalent with having done atleast 2 courses in Mathematics and one in Computer Programming at qualifying degree level.
Candidates must have CAT/ GATE/ GMAT/ GRE/ JAM test score anytime in the last three years. OR DMAT (Data science and Management Aptitude Test) which will be held at IIT Indore on 3rd July 2022.
Candidates who have appeared in any of CAT/ GATE/ GMAT/ GRE/ JAM tests and are yet to receive the result can also apply.

Note:

Releaxation in minimum marks required for SC/ ST/ PwD category is as per Government of India rule.
Total intake of candidates is upto 200. (Reservation in admissions as per Government of India rules).
Programme fee is Rs. 12 Lakhs for Indian participants and Rs. 15.6 Lakhs for International participants which can be paid in three installments.

Selection procedure

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in CAT/ GATE/ GMAT/ GRE/ JAM tests or DMAT (Data Science and Management Aptitude Test). The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The final selection will be based on the performance in the interview.

Application Process

Interested and eligible candidates are requested to apply online at official website. Candidates need to pay the application fee of Rs. 1770/- (for Indian applicants) or Rs. 2300/- (for International applicants). The candidates who applied for DMAT are required to pay the additional examination fee of Rs. 590/-. The last date for online application is 10th June 2022.
