Dr. Reddy's Foundation, which is a not-for-profit organization based in Hyderabad, is offering Sashakt scholarships for girls who wish to pursue an undergraduate science course. The scholarship will cover the financial costs for the entire duration of a three-year B.Sc. Degree course to which the student has got an offer of admission in any of the 12 educational institutions that the Foundation has listed. Preference will be given to girls who are from the rural areas of India and are from families with a low household income.
Scholarship support
The student will get a scholarship award of Rs. 2,40,000/-, that is, Rs 80,000/- for each year of the three years of study. The amount will be for the college tuition fees, as well as for expenses for academic study and basic living costs. Additionally, a lady scientist will play the role of mentor to the student to provide the necessary guidance throughout the years of the academic study (refer to the official website to know who they are). Ensure that the required documents are scanned and uploaded, and select the institution where you will be pursuing the B.Sc. Degree course. You must also later submit the admission slip by 31st August 2022 to indicate that you have a confirmed admission offer from any of the institutions (only one is permitted) listed above.
Documents required
Mandatory documents are the Class 10 certificate, the Class 12 mark sheet, the income certificate for those whose household income is less than Rs. 5 lakhs, and the Disability certificate for PwD applicants.
